Ink quality is a concern
I’m not saying the ink is bad, but it’s a bit too light as compared to what pilot will provide you with v7 cartridge system pens. Black ink is still alright but the blue one is pathetic! I was really hopeful to see Amazon is selling this product, but after receiving and using, very disappointed. So think before you buy.

Value for money
With regard to Pilot products question of dislike never comes.I would like draw the attention of every body that the pilot cartridge is big in size and can hold more ink unlike universally supplied cartriges which are tiny and holds less ink.You can see that these are wide mouthed and manually fill ink very easily.Only thing is that it will not suit all pens, even after exhausting this cartridge after washing you can fill it with ink.Very useful indeed!

Rich in tone, good quality ink. A pleasure to write with.
Pilot Namiki is one of the costlier inks available for fountain pen users, and its quality compared to more economical alternatives is certainly obvious. In my limited experience this ink has shown good fade resistance, a rich attactive tone that's nice to look at, and a smoothness in flow that makes writing a pleasure. I definitely recommend this to someone who wants to use ink that's on the nicer side in performance, and is still comparatively affordable.

Not recommended for fountain pens.
So, while this Pilot cartridge fits my Kakuno perfectly, it's actually made for the Hitecpoint V5 and V7 rollerball pens. The ink is much too wet for a fountain pen, leading to very heavy flow and, unfortunately, several leaks for me. Because of this, I wouldn't recommend using these cartridges in a fountain pen.For fountain pen users, the best approach is to either buy bottled ink and use a converter, or to refill empty cartridges with bottled ink using a syringe.
