While a bit expensive, this buckwheat is quite different from what we have in the U.S. it is a lighter and milder flour. Excellent for making galettes.

We love the flour it self, and my husband had been using it for a small crepe business we are building, but the bags kept arriving slightly open and with flour spewed in the box. We reached out to the vendor and Amazon, neither of them cared; the last 2 times the bags were opened so badly that it only was over half of the flour bag empty, we had to throw the rest away by fear that a contaminent had entered the bag. Again we reached out to no avail; didn’t even get our money back. The flour makes a huge difference in the quality of the crepe but unfortunately we are losing too much money on this and have needed to find a substitution again. And to think all was needed was for the sender/amazon to put a piece of tape at the end of the bags or secure them in a plastic bag

So nice for our pancakes and biscuits. Such a beautiful consistency and delicious flavor. So sorry it is no longer available. Hope it will be offered again.

Great Buckwheat batter. Light and tasty. We use is to make crepes and galettes! I Highly recommend.

I am French and have been using the Treblec flour to make galettes* all my life. I was happy to find Treblec flour to make galettes for my American husband and my friends, but I must admit that I was very disappointed. The flour is from Russia, not Brittany, France. I would have been OK with that if the flavor/taste was the same, but it’s not. It barely smells of buckwheat and whatever you cook only has a faint buckwheat smell/taste. Not cool, Treblec.* "galettes" are salted buckwheat flour thin pancakes / "crêpes" are sweet wheat flour pancakes

Great value, this buckwheat flour came well packed, it is so tasty in breads. The flavor is fresh and the flour is finely milled.
