Doubt if its genuine prestige or defective ?
Appachatty is deep and have good thickness but as its hot it gives smell of burning plastic/non stick coating hence doubt if its a genuine productThat pungent smell which arise never i have experienced with previous prestige products… usually i buy electronics and kitchen items from prestige shop this is the first time online buy..never again will take a chance

No second thoughts just go for it. Does the job perfectly well. Prestige lives upto the brandname, made 2 batches of appam & came out perfectly well. No need to oil, superb non stick coating, easy to clean.Giving 4 stars because the handle gets super hot & becomes difficult to hold while making appam.
