Works as described
This connector works as it should. It it as easy to connect, and delivered the picture to my tb through HDMI effortlessly. Unfortunately, the VCR I got wouldn't play the VHS properly so I will be getting another. If this connector works properly great! If not, I'll update my review.

Perfect for using older dvd player on newer tv - No additional parts needed!!
My 96yr old grandpa was going nuts trying to hook up his old dvd player (from 2001) to his newer tv! He doesn't understand the whole input/output thing & ordered an HDMI to RCA cord first. The only way I could explain simply why it didn't work was that it was backwards. THIS was the part he needed to play an older device on a newer one.I chose to order from this company because it had a decent rating & their reviews confirmed it would work for what I needed it for (Always read the reviews) The real bonus was it came with an adapter. I know most of us probably have spares around but it was the only one I found that came with one & I know my grandfather doesn't have any so it was nice we didn't have to worry about that. It was super easy to hook up & my grandfather is so happy he can watch his dvds again. Would definitely recommend :)

Needed piece
Just what was needed to hook up a portable DVD for my parents to their TV to watch movies. It works perfectly! It was easy to install and the directions were easy to read and follow. Great item!

Works amazing
This item worked great. Reading some of the other reviews. Some people were saying they were having trouble getting it to work. I think a lot of the problems is either using a USB power brick that did not offer ample power or possibly overpowering the unit. Are use the brick that came in the kit, I used a longer cable to connect to the TV but I did use that because of where I needed to place things. I am using this to hook up a closed circuit TV camera that I use to read small print as I am visually impaired. It is a little older and just had a standard composite video output and the screen. I need it to hook it to Did not have component video. I ran just a single yellow composite cable to the unit powered the unit on and hooked up the HDMI cable and it works absolutely great. Would recommend to anyone.
