If you look at the beans they are more brown than black. This gives you a much softer and approachable coffee with a lot of aroma and is friendly to your stomach.This coffee is best when you get the beans and grind it just before brewing.I'm happy that Amazon has this gem available. You pay a premium but so you do for name brands locally.

We prefer the medium toast flavor and low acidity of this German roast coffee.

Not as flavorful as I had hoped but it works well with our Tchibo machine. For the price I expected more beans to be in the bag too

This coffee is my favorite because of the quality. It's already ground finely and makes a perfect cup of coffee. This is the same brand I drink when traveling to Germany. I recommend this coffee.
