Good Product
I installed this product over 5 months ago,I waited to write a review so it would give the materials Time to settle.Along with the quiet glue I used 5/8 Sheetrock sandwiched with Q.G. Cut into strips in between the beams and screwed it to my neighbors floor.Next was the pink home insulation followed up by auralex resilient channel, then 1/2 inch Sheetrock-quiet glue then 5/8 sheetrock. The only noise I hear from upstairs is one dresser drawer,I think the noise is traveling down my wall by not through the sound proofed ceiling. My major noise issue was creaking floors, voices and movement and those are all gone. The glue itself did not fix the sound problem but all of the combined ingredients did the job.

Easy To apply, Not sure if it does much for noise
I used this to try and stop street noise from the outside. I live on a rural highway. Cars at night are spaced apart so its will be silent and then you hear a car, that wakes us up. This is very easy to apply. Sandwiched it between two layers of drywall. I feel it work OK on the higher pitch noises but does nothing for the lower deeper grumbles.

Terribly sticky/adherent; almost impossible to clean up
Used as directed. Placed between 2 layers, then screwed together. Placed in upright position, bottom open. All the material migrated to bottom and slowly drained out. Terribly sticky/adherent; almost impossible to clean up; even with acetone! Never dries. How does it effectively soundproof when gravity pulls it down to the bottom of the space? Even in a double wall application this happens. Very expensive, difficult to work with and ineffective.(Chipmunks got into my garage and were trapped by this material and died-like in an old cartoon.)

Product is fine but the unrealistic shipping fees from ATS kills the value over GG
Product is good choice for dampening but the unrealistic shipping fees ATS adds cuts into the price difference between QuietGlue and GreenGlue far too much.

Amazing Product!
I recently purchased this product for my condo, we`re connected on every wall except the front and ceiling. I was comparing Greenglue and mass loaded vinyl but both were twice the price of Quietglue. I also compared all the different sound rating results each companies had on their site and most were the same about 18-21 STC. Greenglue and Quietglue had a small argument on their sites about who had the better sound rating but, in the end i went with Quietglue hearing that they were related to the same company that produced the popular Quietrock. No more mariachi music or screaming kids just silence. Okay most of the time that`s the case but, when the family next door are screaming their brains out, you could hear them a little bit, they just sound far away which is great. For my project i used 5/8 drywall over the existing drywall with Quietglue sandwiched in between and quietseal to seal all the seams and make it air tight. Save yourself money and go with Quietglue. No regrets, still blown away at how well it works.

This stuff DOES NOT DRY. EVER
Probably contributed to overall sound proofing of construction of drum/vocal booth. But, it has continued to ooze from any crevasse that was not completely sealed. Latest issue is with layer of quietglue put between quitrock and fire door. Despite sealing bottom with latex caulk, quietglue continues to find way to leak through. It has been 4 months since construction was completed. Find another product.

My review of QuietGlue Pro vs. GreenGlue
I used QuietGlue Pro and GreenGlue on my project. I went with QuietGlue Pro because it was cheaper at the time and to do a comparison. What I noticed was that the GreenGlue will harden up quicker while the QuietGlue Pro stays liquid longer so much that the stuff starts to drip down the walls a week later after it has been sandwiched between two sheets of drywall! I noticed this on 3/4 of my walls. I think why this is is because I made a glop of the stuff on certain sections and it doesn't dry fast like the GreenGlue so it will drip down to the floor as waste. To avoid this, I would drill a 1/4 or smaller hole in the cartons so that the stuff that comes out doesn't glop too big.I don't think people will notice the difference in the end result between the two so get whichever is cheaper. Just remember that GreenGlue is easier to use without worrying about the stuff dripping down the walls.
