Can I use these on a ovation guitar and and do they have the metal circles to hold it to the bridge? Sorry I’m quite new to guitars

hi would these be okay for a beginner with little to no experience?

They’re quite a light gauge, which means you don’t have to exert that much finger pressure in order to form a chord or fret a string. And for that reason I’d say yes, they’re ideal for a beginner. Though with being a lighter gauge, the strings may feel a bit more slippy when playing, but it’s something you get used to and is a bonus as you can bend notes more easily. They’re steel strings, so the obvious initial hardship will be suffering from them until your finger tips harden, that’s always a stumbling block for players transferring from classical nylon strings to steel, but it does get easier and less painful the more you play, I promise.

Bright yet mellow tone.

Tone and balance is excellent. The tone is bright but with a mellow depth. Longevity is yet to be determined but sound wise, these are the best long life strings that I have ever used. Easy on the fingers too.

Delicious (kisses fingers).

These are the strings that came on my Martin SC-10e. They're fabulous if you like a bright sound. They're light, so they feel great too.When I replace the strings, I can't stop playing for about two weeks because they sound so lush. After that, they still sound good, but lack a little je ne sais quoi, until I replace them again.If money were no object, I'd have my guitar tech replace these every two weeks. Alas, I'll stick to every three months.

Brought back some sparkle .

After watching reviews on these, I moved to them as they have a reputation for being slightly brighter than their competitors. I have an Eastman E10ss spruce top/ mahogany back and sides . ( J45 type thing) . Mahogany can tonally be on the mellow side . I went for the 80/20 on a punt really. I’m very happy with the results . Definately more sparkle than the Elixr 80/20 I put on the other day. These may not be the right thing for an already bright character sounding guitar .
