The Biogenealogy Sourcebook: Healing the Body by Resolving Traumas of the Past Paperback – Illustrated, June 18, 2008

This is a truly amazing book that takes the mind-body connection and really chucks it down level upon level. Doctors can't tell you where cancer comes from other than a bad gene, and if it recurs or goes somewhere else, then they just say bad luck. This takes the conversation to a deep level of understanding.What really got me was the "felt" experiences of babies in the womb, sensing their mom's worry or trauma and how a simple anxiety like being able to financially support the little one has effects - never mind the ones we experience as we grow. Most people are not ready to understand this because it is too easy to go to a doc and get a pill, then another one and on and on.The book gets a little technical and I had to keep looking up medical words here and there. Across the board, this book offers a lot of insight.

Emotions are many times the underlying reason for why we experience disease, health issues, etc. I discovered this book through my biomagnetism practitioner (Dr. Issac Goiz) as well as practitioner who uses The Emotion Code. Highly insightful - once you understand the emotional source to problems, you can address them. I was pleasantly surprised to learn the root of items I have been dealing with for years. In some instances, verbally recognizing outloud the past situation or emotion and forgiving someone, forgiving yourself, releasing it, etc., can make a tremendous difference.

as a meta medicine practitioner, i learned a lot from this book and this is one ofthe books that guide me to know where disease comes from. it's easy to readand clear.

This book is a fantastic 'go to' resource for getting a snap shot picture of underlying emotional cause to a physical issue. Easy to read and concise. Even insightful for those who are curious about what their body is trying to tell them.

It is a slow read and not easy to fully grasp but the overall message of the link between disease and emotional, spiritual element is clear and powerful. As I have applied this teaching to my life, I have found healing.

In his review, titled 'Highly recommended', the reviewer S.Coleman wrote:"The biogenealogy sourcebook is an excellent reference based on Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer's discoveries of how psychological conflict leads to illness."This is completely true, but why then doesn't the author of 'The Biogenealogy Sourcebook' mention Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer anywhere in his book??? Not under 'Acknowledgments', nor under 'Preface'. I've sent an email to the author (Christian Flèche - [email protected]) about this, but he's in no hurry to answer...So, only 1 star, because I don't like this kind of behavior at all.If you wonna find out more about the real inventor of the subject of this book, google for 'German New Medicine' - and don't let biased articles, like the ones on Wikipedia, put you off even before you start investigating this for yourself.Hope this might straighten things out.
