This is my second order!
This is my second order. My first order was two years ago when I decided to give this product a try and see if it lived up to the hype. Well, let me tell you, it works! It’s still strong after two years, and it feels like concrete when I walk on it. This stuff is incredibly strong, reliable, and easy to use. I can now blow the leaves off my driveway and yard without worrying about the mulch and rocks moving around. However, if you’re using a backpack sprayer, make sure to clean it out immediately after use. Also, I wouldn’t recommend using this product around flowers and trees. It may prevent them from getting the right amount of water.

I was pleasantly surprised
I was skeptical at purchasing this product solely on the mixed reviews. But I decided to give it a try since doing nothing would have the same results as previous years. Piles of mulch washed into my grass and across my driveway after a heavy downpour.I spread three cubic yards of triple ground brown mulch around all my trees and flower beds. I love this mulch. It spreads easily and covers nicely, but because of its rather small and fine texture, a heavy down pour will remove the mulch from any area where the water collects and runs off. The best way to describe these run off areas are flower beds that are raised and contour down to the lawn. Right at that point is where the rain water collects and washes away the mulch. On most of the flat mulched areas it stays in place. But at those "V" type areas, water runs like a small creek and everything ends up in a pile at the lowest point. I spend four hours raking and sweeping up mulch and redistributing it back over the bare dirt. This is every time after every down pour, all summer long.A little research online brought me to this product. I live in southeastern PA and we just went through about six to eight weeks of no measurable rain so everything was extremely dry. I shook the bottle per directions and dumped one third into my two gallon portable pump sprayer. I did the same with the other two thirds. Pumped up the sprayer and opened up the nozzle to allow for the thicker material to be applied. It reminds me of watered down Elmers Glue. (probably is) I applied it to the areas most prone to be washed off, about twelve inches wide. With everything being so dry, the mulch sucked it in immediately. The coverage looked about the same as pictured on the bottle. I may have went a bit heavier in the more severe problem areas, but I tried to stay consistent to optimize coverage. I noticed it leaves a slight sheen on the mulch when it dries. Probably not that noticeable to anyone who didn't see it being applied.Three days later we had a line of storms roll through that dumped two and a half inches of rain. This would be the test. When I walked the yard, I was pleasantly surprised to find that something like ninety five percent of what I had sprayed stayed in place.Overall I'm pleased with the product. Just make sure you shake/ mix the product well before use and I think the biggie is to make sure the mulch is as dry as possible before application. The directions state that Loc Mulch should dry for twenty four to forty eight hours for best results. I agree. the longer the better.

Application information
I had a difficult time finding the information regarding what conditions the manufacturer recommends for application. I don’t have the bottle in front of me right now but I believe it needs to be above 40 degrees for at least 24 hours after application. It has to be applied to dry material so several days of sun beforehand. With no rain forecasted for several days. I live in Washington so I’ll let you know how it works in 6 months

Do not purchase!
The media could not be loaded. I'm glad I waited to make my review because a couple weeks showed me that this is horribly miss leading. My project is small rocks surrounding my lawn to keep sprinklers away from the fence and the rocks eliminate mud areas. You can see in the video that the rocks have been rinsed and packed prior to applying the "glue". There was more to the video showing the reappearing of white color wheb water is applied to fully cured glue but amazon wouldn't allow the extra minute of video length.I did application as directed on product with dry material that had zero water for more than 2 day prior and after application. Since I'm in northern CA we were 95° and above when I did the applications. My issues with this product are that it's WATER SOLABLE which means water not only breaks it down but the glue re-absorbs the water (after fully curing) and returns to mush after water sits for a while. Yes it takes a couple weeks of sprinklers 5 days a week to have the effect of no application but come rain season (in a few weeks) all of my areas will be as if I never spent countless hours packing and glueing. This product is so water solable I'm not sure they added any nitrogen to the formula because how do you market an outdoor glue that can not hold up a week or two into winter? $460.00 down the drain. Now I'm having to spend another ~$500.00 on an epoxy paint to solidify the rocks in place and it's a race against mother nature because of the wasted time applying fraudulently marketed outdoor glue. I do NOT recommend this product for anyone that actually wants their landscape material to stay put after water exposure. You could save money and just apply Elmer's clear glue which would last longer and not turn white everytime it gets wet.I'm on a very limited budget, and saved for 3 years to get my sprinklers and rock project funding (did all work myself) so to now be over budget by more than $500 is heart breaking and stressful. It will take me a year or more to pay off the credit card from this grossly misleading product.

Dries quickly
Awesomeness!I punctured holds in the top of the lid, to pour over gravel rocks in my artificial flowers pots. This technique secured not only the rocks but the inserted flowers.Thank you for the quality of your product!

Didn’t work for me.
I used this on mulch, followed the instructions as stated, but the hold is honestly very weak. I wasn’t impressed by the product at all. I drenched one area, making sure the adhesive literally blanketed the mulch, and the hold is minimal at best.
