Lovely Salads, Easy to Make
This book has revolutionised my lunches. With a bit of planning the night before you can make tasty salads quickly in a morning. They are filling and of such variety you don’t get bored. Though they are healthy they are not necessarily low calorie/fat some are over 700 calories per serving. The book doesn’t give this information so I’ve had to calculate it myself. I’ve amended a few recipes to reduce the amount of oil and calories so they are a more balanced for my personal diet without reducing brilliance of the salad itself.

I look forward to lunch because of this book
I got this a couple of months ago and it's transformed my lunch experience.Every day I use it I look forward to the salad I'm going to have. Particularly the dressings. Full of imaginative combinations it's a great book. Not ideal for nut allergy sufferers as they will have to seriously modify some recipes, but the dressings are where it's at and I'd still buy it for a nut allergy sufferer who can cook.I'd give it the full five stars but because I eat a lot I often modify the salads by adding more protein or carb sources.

Greatest salad book ever
Incredible selection of yummy salads to easily prepare at home

Great recipes, “5 minutes” is misleading
I really love the recipes in this book and find them an inspiring alternative to typical salads - lots of great ideas and interesting dressing to accompany them with.The “5 minute” is misleading however - it assumes everything in the salad is already washed, chopped/grated/shredded and in some cases cooked, which of course it isn’t. The 5 is the last few minutes it takes to put all that together. So replace 5 minutes with 20-30 in your expectations.

Very usefull little book, a great hands on make your own lunch book!
This is a brilliant book, really useful. How to construct quick salads, how to box and make a work day lunch. But its not just for lunch, great ideas for a quick supper, healthier meals all round, how to make a variety of dressings, more indulgent salads. Easy to spark ideas from, for all round variety. How to pack for transport, great photos.
