HoneywellDesigner Series Cool Mist Humidifier, White

Terrific product. It made a huge difference in my health this winter. My son has had one for several years with no problems. Mine stopped working less than two months after I purchased it, after the Amazon return date window. I called the phone number on the unit itself, talked briefly to someone who shipped a new one right away at no cost. I'm a happy camper. It's good to buy from a responsible company.

Works exactly as described. Good quality and value. A pleasure to have cool moist air blowing all day into a high altitude dry office.

I like the humidifier for its performance, but I have to say that it is pretty noisy when the water is shifting around and re-populating the tube. I did get used to it, but I’m not sure I would buy this again given the noise.

We loved this humidifier so much that we bought another.We bought our first one last year.It worked so well in our bedroom that we decided to buy one for our living room.I like our bedroom quiet when I sleep and the PUR Honeywell is very quiet.Love the light in the front also.You xan see how much water is left.The light also can be either lowered or turned off.It is not only easy to fill but it is a breeze to clean.The capacity is perfect.We can leave the humidifier on all day without refilling.I have to say, this is the best humidifier we have bought.Thank you, Honeywell.

The media could not be loaded. (I have this in white and black - they both operate the same way.). The humidifier does work. It is fairly quiet. You can turn the light off as needed. The level of humidity can be adjusted. There is no humidity gage on it so it is best to use an external one. (We have one on our weather 'station').DOWNSIDES:1. This cannot be set up on the floor. The flooring around it will become WET!2. It spews white dust everywhere. All surfaces are covered in white dust - my refrigerator, dishwasher, cabinets, furniture. The manufacturer says to use distilled water - I would be spending way too much on water. The reason for the white dust is that the humidifier is lifting the minerals, etc. out of the water into the air. Our air purifier goes crazy every time we turn the humidifier on.If it is going onto my furniture, what is it doing to my lungs? I cannot continue to clean up and breath the bad air after this devise on a daily basis.

This was supposed to be here two days ago. They shipped it yesterday for delivery today. Now they say it'll be here in two more days. So... if you're in a hurry, try something else. However, I've used this brand of humidifier for ages and they last a long time without any hassle as long as you follow the directions and clean them. I highly recommend Honeywell, just don't be in a hurry to get it.Update: The second one arrived quickly. But this one is so much better than any of the other humidifiers I've ever owned, especially better than the ones with wicks/filters. It gets the room humidified much quicker than even the steam ones by Honeywell.

We run four humidifiers, total. I only use this one when it gets below 30% in the house. It brings the humidity up quickly but it puts a white dust on everything. I have dark floors and tables so it makes it easy to see. My air purifiers are covered and have to be wiped down daily because of this humidifier. I read that it is the mineral in the water and I understand that but it is frustrating because the others do not do that (all honeywell). I love that this one holds so much water and is easy to fill. I would not buy again though because of the white dust.
