Meyer's Pure Domestic USA Beeswax, Not Imported, Additive Free Triple Filtered Pellets for All Your Do It Yourself

I made my first candles with this beeswax. It smells nice but isn’t fragrant. It melted very nice and burns well. It does burn straight down so I think I’ll double my wicks next time but I’m still learning! I’ve figured out if you add coconut oil when melting the beeswax it makes the candle burn more evenly. The price does change quite a bit on this listing. I ordered two bags for nineteen dollars and fifty cents each the first time. Now it’s one bag for around twenty five dollars. I just looked up the actual website for the beeswax and it had a pound listed for ten dollars and fifteen cents so I will definitely be ordering from their website next time!

I keep coming back to order more Meyer’s! I love it for my son who makes his own lip balm, and for candles. It smells so good! We had tried a less expensive one and had to return it due to it smelling like an industrial chemical. I would love a bulk buying option. 🐝 🍯 💛

So far I do like this. When I opened the package I smelled warm honey. I’m planning on using this to make beeswax food wraps.

I was initially going to purchase a bigger bag for cheaper from another vendor but I read the reviews for this one and liked that it was from a US based company. I wanted to make multiple size bread bags using left over quilting cotton. A bag of 8oz wax made 4 bags of various sizes. And I still had a little left over. As I was melting the wax in the oven, it made my house smell like honey. It absorbed into the fabric pretty quickly (3 min at 250F) and no residual pellets. If you’re heavy handed with the wax it can get a little sticky, but that’s what wax is supposed to do right? Anyway, I’m really very pleased with it. And I also feel like it’s worth supporting a US based family business. And my bag arrived with no temperature control concerns, pellets were not melted.

It is difficult to find this locally, but of course, Amazon has it! I love Amazon for that reason alone! This product is a high quality beeswax and the tiny pellets do not become sticky on the shelf at normal room temperature. They take a little longer to melt than I expected, and when you melt them BE SURE to use a disposable container or its really hard to clean it off the container completely when you are done. I highly recommend this product.
