I used this exfoliating face mask and didn't experience any irritation. I only use it on congested areas of my skin, not more delicate or dry areas. I use it to spot correct, so I use it on my nose and chin. I can see how it could be irritating if used on the cheeks. This exfoliator does begin to help clearing some congested areas of the face. It did not clear my pores, but opened them so that I could then clear them with a peel off mask. After several weeks of use, I could use it without a peel off mask.The product smells like peaches. It's a pleasant smell and isn't overly perfumy or cloying.

This is a nice face mask. Easy to apply and does not irritate my skin. I love that it exfoliates, I use it about once a week. This mask left my skin feeling soft and refreshed.

I usually don’t do much exfoliation at home, other than very gentle ones (gentle enough to use every day), because I regularly get facials 2–4 times a month.However, there are times when I can’t go to the spa, like during a long vacation—such as this fall.I requested this product so I could take it with me on my 3-month vacation, knowing I’d need to take care of my skin.For your reference, I have oily combination skin that can get quite sensitive depending on my menstrual cycle. To sum up, my skin responded very nicely, even though it was in a sensitive state due to changes in water, environment, etc.I would consider repurchasing this in the future, even at full price.

I like Dr. Sebagh’s products because of his attention to skin sensitivities. This mask is geared toward providing exfoliation without irritation. Because I use retinol overnight, I don’t want to beat up my skin with harsh products, yet I still like to add special treatments. This mask relies heavily on lactic acid, a gentler AHA that I really like using,. I fell a little stinging sensation when I first applied it, but it lessons and I was able to keep the mask on for five minutes. The result was glowing skin without redness or irritation. This mask also contains lysine which promotes smoother texture and builds collagen. Salicylates help purify pores. It also contains peptides and hydrators. MY skin does not feel stripped afterwards and my vitamin C serum did not sting when I applied it. I. loved that my skin looks almost poreless after using this mask. When I washed my face in the evening, it still had that smooth glow.This mask comes in a 1.7 ounce glass jar. It spreads easily for massaging. There is the faintest of scents that would not offend anyone who is scent sensitive. Love the peachy pink color. This is a pricey product, but I expect it to last a long time and be my Saturday morning anti-aging treat! Highly recommend this exfoliating mask for sensitive skin.

I'm used to the usual exfoliating face masks, so this is different for me. It feels like you are putting face cream on your face and then washing it off, you do not feel the exfoliating part, which is good for sensitive skin. I have not seen any visible difference on my face, but it does feel nice and gentle. At this price point though, I do hope to see some results soon.

this is a chemical exfoliant wash off mask. smells great, and easy to use. it does sting, but i expect AHAs to sting a bit. I wouldn't say it went as far as being painful. My face looked really refreshed and young and bright afterwards!

I liked that the product says it’s good for sensitive skin. When I tried it, it did feel a wee bit hot, but not uncomfortable. The fragrance was wonderful, I loved that 100%. It’s a paste, easy to rub on. Left it on for 5 minutes and washed it off. It felt just fine. Not very abrasive, like it claimed, it’s fairly gentle.
