Cable sounds as good as the original beats cable it replaced.Ok no volume control?No problem, it was the weakest area on the original of which two I’ve had broke!Using it now streaming from a high-res site and it sounds very good.

Purchased April 2022: I can’t find my original cable, so I purchased this one to replace it. It’s very sturdy, and good quality connections. It’s just a simple cable however, with no volume control.Update October 2022: this has stopped working overnight. It sounds like the volume has been turned down from 100% to 1% (I use it at work with my own headphones for dictation). I'm not aware of any damage, it was sitting on my desk as usual. I've had to purchase another one to be able to keep working, which is not a huge deal as it's cheap, however, I expected it to last longer than six months. Another item that has to go in the recycling.

Arrived well packaged. Looks very similar to official Beats wire but doesn’t have a volume control, I’m not personally too bothered by this because I don’t use my Beats wired up regularly but I could see why this would be inconvenient to some people, hence the 4 stars. No compromise in sound quality. Good for the price as a replacement.

Bought for a quick trip when I didn’t want to take my wireless beats charger. Work so well. The only thing is that the wiring has came out a little bit on one side but they have been wound up in my beats headphones case

I really like this cable. It's simple without having mic/volume control on the lead. Nice length, very flexible and performs everybit as well as the oem cable that came with my beats studio's.I never needed the mic/vol. control and this doesn't have it so be warned.

Because apple for some reason have discontinued the legitimate replacement cable i got one of these because it had no volume buttons (since thats an easy point of failure), got it back in august, and now its just finally given in, first i lost one of the channels of audio, and now ive just lost the other, annoyingly cant find any other cables without the volume buttons that i know will fit into these headphones so im probably going to have to buy yet another one of these.

It does exactly what it is supposed to and delivers great sound to the headphones.There are no in-built controls, which is what I wanted.The cable itself is flexible yet sturdy enough to take a lot of use.A good buy.

I bought this so I could connect to a device which had bluetooth connectivity issues with my Beats headphones.It works exactly as it should and the sound quality is as good as it would be wireless on another device. The length is long enough to mean I'm not scrunched over a screen but not so long I need to skip over it if I stand up.
