My 2.5 year old looooves this and I love the ability to store it! He’s really into trains so I wanted to get him a train track but not one that takes up a ton of space or takes a ton of time to take apart and put away. This is perfect! And being able to fold it up with all of its pieces inside of it is also a huge win! I love not having to search through toy bins for all of the parts - they’re all together!

Bought this for my son's 2nd birthday. He LOVES it! He carried it everywhere with him and is holding up well to being dropped and with rough play. I highly recommend this!

Our 2 yr old loves to play with this train set. It is easy for him to carry around and set up himself. Works well to travel with because self contained.

The media could not be loaded. Quality constructed, wooden toy set that assembles easily. The board folds open and acts as a storage case. The case has a metal folding clasp keeping the board tightly shut.The magnet strength holds the cars together well, and can be pulled along the track without disconnecting. The 18-piece set comes with a colorful variety which can be placed in a variety of places on the board.The interior of the board has a few ideas of how to play adding to the learning environment. Melissa and Doug make quality, well constructed toys and you can confidently add this one to the list.

I bought one of these for my son when he was 2 and bought one for my nephew this Christmas because my son loved it so much. It's so convenient and easy cleanup. Great for younger kids.

My 3 year old son got this for his birthday and it might have been his favorite toy of the evening. But when he was playing with it, the trains drive on top of the two sides of the containers, so basically hollow boxes. On hardwood floors, this was not that quiet of a toy. I bought this to be a toy that stayed put away until Sunday for him to get to take to our 1 hour church service meeting where some kids his age prefer to run around rather than play with most toys. This is enough to hold his attention, but it was just too distracting for others around us because you definitely hear him driving the trains and moving the decor pieces that fall over with a loud clack. But taking this to the park or over to a friends house would be perfect. Not great for quiet indoor settings like meetings and such.

Love that the carrying case opens up for play, easy to store pieces inside

Two-year-old loves playing with trains! This fold up track allows us to take it on the go. The pieces are all durable and fit into the carrying case with no hassle. The magnets on trains could be better but that's an easy fix and minor problem.
