Greatest cherries ever! They're NOT maraschino cherries fyi, they're WILD BLACK CHERRIES (possibly Amaro).They're thicker, bigger and oh so tasty! The sauce they're in is also extremely good! Sweet and sour to the max! Similar to amaretto cherries but not as sweet.I'll eat these forever. Please bury them with me when I go!

Perfect as a cordial in creating desserts and candies

I've been using Luxardo cherries for a while now, and with my latest jar about to run out, I've decided to try something else...enter Amerrna Toschi.Price wise, they are a bit cheaper, but not significantly so.The jar is kinda cute, if you're into that kinda thing.Flavour wise, these a very nice - a bit sweeter than the Luxardos. I kinda prefer the Luxardo flavour, but not significantly so.The big difference is the size of the individual cherries and the texture.These are quite a bit larger than Luxardos and the texture is much nicer, imo. I've never really been a fan of the Luxardo cherries - I just can't get my head around a cherry so firm it's almost crisp. The Toschis are the size and texture I expect from a cherry.I still haven't found the perfect combo of texture and flavour, but I'm pleased enough I'd buy them again.
