Very good cable
These cables work as well as can be expected (I bought two), with positive locking at both ends when properly fitted to speakers and amplifiers (speakon cables require that you line up the notches on the receptacle with the pins on the speakon connector, push the connector in, then turn right until it clicks to create a positive locked connection). They are sturdy and flexible, and came packaged in clear, heavy, reusable, plastic bags with handles, that I use to store and transport them in. Good value for the money.

Speakon is coming, be warned.
Speakon connectors at both ends. Understand in Europe Speakon only connectors are required for all high wattage systems. I bought cheap high wattage speakers for my NYE Karaoke party that only had speakon connectors, hence had to buy these. Realize my 10 year old speakers had speakons and regular connectors, now only speakons. click into place very secure, sound fine, cable weight not too light. Connect into my mini Yamaha mixer great, no issues just a little annoyed I have to buy these to connect speakers to my system.

Great value
My needs: 12ga speaker cables with Speakons about 25-ft lengthMy budget: Very smallMy eye for quality: High scrutinyAs stated above, I needed two speaker cables. My amp has speakon outputs, and my PA cabinets accept speakon or TS. I really wanted speakon at both ends just to ensure no loose connection and no accidental disconnect. These were the only cables to meet my need, budget, and eye for quality. When I took them out of the packages I inspected the speakon connectors by unscrewing the blue strain relief. Each wire was securely tightened to its terminal. The cables are very flexible, and coil up easily. The speakon connectors snap securely into position, with the metal locking tabs.I am an occasional mobile DJ, and these cables allow me to have AND eat cake. When in blind testing, self-described Audiophiles cannot discern a sound difference between steel coat hangars and credit-card melting "high-end" cables - there is no need to spend more than you have to.

For the price, still pretty hard to beat, but not 12g
The ends are good on the cable and quite serviceable, it is also heavy duty feeling with a thick protective liner. The only real issue I have with it is clearly mislabeled wire thickness and I have included a picture of cheap big box retail 16g speaker wire for comparison. It is maybe slightly (very very slightly) thicker, but if I soldered the speaker wire I imagine they would be the same. The ends come apart, were wired correctly, and use screw terminals inside. You don't often buy the cheapest product expecting the best product, but honesty would be good in online retail.

Impressed!
My expectations for these cables was fairly low... I mean, its just a cable, right? Well, I must say that I was rather impressed with the weight and feel of them. Heavy duty, nice and beefy! I can already tell that this was a good buy and look froward to a long service life with these. Use: I bought two of these cables to use for my 15" Mains coming straight out of my powered mixer. Good deal price-wise and like I said, they've got a good heavy feel to them.

Seems to be well above average for the price. No problems.
Not sure if I got lucky or others were unlucky. Picked these out for a set of subwoofers. Ran from the amp to the subs and they work just fine. Pushing a modest 300 watts RMS to each sub. I may go in the strain relief and fill it with a bit of black RTV silicone just to fill the gap between the cable and housing. They are flexible and coil up easily. Second set of Pyle-Pro cables. Both set work well.

Very good cable
I've only switched to speakon within the past year after getting a new Peavey amp (also from amazon). I love the fact that the twist lock at the connection point prevents any accidental pulling-out of the plug. The thickness of the wire (I think it is somewhere in the 10-12 range) is very conductive. Finally, most cables come in 6', 10', 25' and 50'. In this respect, you get an extra 5' for your buck.
