Comfortable
These shoes are fantastic! Very nice looking and comfortable. The cost was so nice compared to the name brands that are quite expensive. The fit is a little large but I would be afraid if you went down in size, they would be too snug.

Comfortable. Easy to put on.
This is my 3rd pair of Whitin barfoot shoes. Each a different style. I am 71. I have neuropathy and flat feet so I was wary of this type of foorware initally but after the first pair (tied, laced) I was sold. The 2nd pair are slip on. This pair are very nice and have great tread for outdoors on grass and such. I think they look great also. Added plus is they are laced but have velcro strap which makes them easy to get on. I have sneakers and other footware and each has their place of use.

Depends on what trails you are running
I just hiked 7 miles in these shoes and I have a few notes:First of all, I'll admit I probably need a half size smaller than I ordered. This is my first pair of barefoot style shoes and I think I may usually buy regular shoes in a half size larger than my foot just to get extra space. These come with extra space built in. I walked around town a few days with these before my hike and everything was fine, but a mile into my hike and I had a blister forming on the bottom of one foot that I had to stop and tend to.Size and blister issues aside, I still really like these but there is one other issue. Despite being trail runners and having a tough looking sole, one does really feel the trail under foot. The trail I hiked was very rocky the entire way. Several days after my hike the bottoms of my feet are still tender from, well being tenderized by the rough terrain. I could see how being more in touch with the trail could be a benefit if you are on nice dirt paths or scrambling up smooth boulders, but not in my case.In the future I think I'll make different choices on sizing and which trails I use these on, but overall I like and recommend them.

Great Purchase
Great shoes, comfortable, and the size is a true fit. They support my arch and are easy to put on and take off, and the color is great.

Slip on black barefoot shoes
Ordered the normal size my friend wore. I did not expect the velcro strip at the top of shoe laces. My friend is older had has trouble putting on regular shoes and these were a little hard for him too, but I think he will get use to them. Otherwise, they look great and he said he really liked them and thought they would be very breathable for the summer. He wears a size 9 US and they fit him perfect.

Narrower than before
First purchased in 2021 when looking for an affordable outdoor barefoot shoe w/ a very wide toebox. (I’m about 4.25” wide!). They felt amazing from 1st wear w/ enough width that I could get full splay & be comfortable. After 3 years or workouts, walks on the beach, yard work, etc the ankle strap broke. 😢 I purchased the pink pair (photo) in 2024. Also wide / comfortable. In 2025, I decided to get black again so I could rotate them. They are *noticeably* narrower (& a bit shorter). I feel pressure on the sides & tops of my feet. I suspect this is shrinkflation—attempting to save just a bit of $ from reducing a bit fabric / plastic / rubber/velcro/whatever. Most people may not notice, but those of us with wide feet sure will. Ugh!! Going up a size would be too long and a tripping hazard. Super unfortunate. These were one of the only Whitins truly wide enough to be called barefoot shoes, IMO. Going to see if I can ignore the discomfort while wearing them around the house today, but I fear they’re going to be returned though they are probably better than most exceedingly narrow shoes. (Why do we allow shoes which are physical hindrance to proper movement??) Maybe I need to take a shoe making class!

Well made and virtually identical quality to name brand shoes
Well made, solid rubber soles, and has removable foam insole. Virtually identical to a name brand pair that I paid over double the price for. Interestingly enough the name brand pair I have has the same country of origin as these do. They are still fairly new so I cannot comment on the long term durability; but the materials and craftsmanship seem on par with the other name brand barefoot shoes that I currently own. Sizing was fairly accurate. I would definitely err on ordering to the larger size that you would need or order up if you're a half size. Otherwise very good shoe for an excellent price!

Minimalist shoes don't need to be expensive
I've been rocking this brand for a while now (8 years?). The quality isn't the "best" per say, but you can't beat $30 minimalist shoes. Also, they are probably the most comfortable, and have amazing grip of all the other brands I've tried. I will likely always wear a pair of these until they stop making them, or something better comes along, but so far neither has happened, so I highly recommend a pair of these.
