Good value for money
I, like most reviews tile alot, bought this based on price and needed a 1200mm . The other reviews are very accurate in that it only needs a light touch, if you use it like your rambo it will shatter tiles every time. But if you adopt a light touch and treat it like you would treat a fine lady it will cut cleanly, reliably and is easy to use. Laser is useless, about as much use as tits on a fish but other than that a great piece of kit for cheap price.

Overall very happy with the purchase
When choosing tile cutter i read lots of reviews, and some criticized cutters with two tubes running alongside as being not strong enough. So i chose this type with the bar in the middle. The cutter cuts really well indeed. I did 20m2 floor project with quite a few cuts and wasted no tiles (those were premium quality though) and all cuts are nice and clean. One aspect i did not consider is that it is not straightforward to position marker on the tile against the cut line because you cannot look at it straight down due to the bar being in the middle. So it is either looking at your marker from an angle (and learning how much it needs to be off the centre at that angle), or use tape measure and then ruler on the cutter. Both alternative methods are easy and stress free, just an extra unnecessary step in otherwise nice flow of work. Good luck!

Dont buy
This cutter is next to useless.Dont waste your money. It isnt square bumps along when scoring tiles and after the first tile broke every other tile.

Laser is not aligned
Bought this as I had a bathroom to tile with large tiles, 850mm x 29mm, thought the laser would be good to align the long cuts, however this did not prove to be true. The first tile I marked and aligned on the laser and cut, the cut was on the line at one end and 4mm out at the other end. The laser was clearly not aligned with the cutter, after many attempts at adjusting both the cutting wheel and the laser I gave up and aligned it by eye, which once again is tricky due to the fact the guide bar is directly above the line so you must be careful that you are not slightly offset. The actual cutting wheel was good once it was aligned and the tiles cut nicely. The laser should be aligned at the factory correctly and this would be a very good cutter.

Excellent tile cutter
Used to cut 1m long textured porcelain tiles with ease! Some tips if cutting long tiles, place a screwdriver (after scoring) under the scoreline at the end of the tile to make the break easier, also place the breaker head about 2 inches down from the start of the cutter. For more normal size tiles this is not necessary I found. The laser needs adjusting like most tools. Slide the handle all the way to the end of the cutter, then using the two screws either side of the laser lense adjust the beam so it lands on the cutting wheel. Once correctly set the laser makes measuring and cutting longer lengths much easier.
