Yamaha Trumpet Cleaning and Care Product (YAC-1007P)

This is exactly what I wanted. People who're displeased seemed to have just bought the wrong thing. This is for piccolo or flute cases (or maybe some clarinet cases), which have the circular indention inside the case. That is what you buy this cork grease for. Or if you just want a small container to carry around instead of a chapstick-sized one. As for quality, it's perfect! Works very well and fits perfectly in my case. [:

It works.....

I ordered this cork grease to save myself a trip to the music store. I couldn't be more disappointed. The packaging is a joke. The diameter of the package is almost exactly the same size as a quarter coin - it is even smaller than a plastic cover for a water bottle or pop bottle. The thickness of the container is slightly greater than 1/4 inch in height. The package is EXTREMELY difficult to get open. Until the packaging gets changed - DON'T buy this product.UPDATE: April 6, 2014The manufacturer has improved the packaging. The container is no longer a screw top, but is now a flip - top, so it is MUCH easier to open. Container is still small and round, so it fits great in woodwind cases. Product appears to be the same. Nothing fancy about cork grease. I am changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars, because now the product is actually usable!

The actual size is so small and I think they are overpriced.

The grease itself is very good; my only "complaint" would be the form - I prefer my cork grease in a chapstick tube form, like Buffet Crampon Cork Grease (Tube)

Works very good on cork tenons. My only complaint is not enough as i go through it quick.

Product works great

I've been looking all around for cork grease to fit in the little indent in my clarinet case. And here it is!Aside from that, it's actually really slick and you don't need to apply much to get it lubricated. It also has a clean feeling to it, sort of, so it doesn't feel sticky and disgusting on my fingers after I use it. It's unscented, so that's a plus (for me). Personally, I think it performs better than Vandoren or Selmer's cork grease brands that come in the little ChapStick containers.
