One of the best additions to your aquarium! They filter microscopic algae, left over fish food particles, as well as other waste and debris. They help prevent noxious gasses from building up in sand and gravel aquariums. Will not harm plants or fish. No additional feeding necessary. Please track your package and begin acclimating the clams to your aquarium, pond, or lake as soon as possible. Please note that dead clams will have wide open shells and will smell very foul. If your clams are closed, but not moving it does not mean they are not alive. The clams are likely just nervous and getting used to their new surroundings. Please do NOT discard closed clams as they are perfectly healthy. If you are unsure at all of the health of your clams please reach out and if possible send a photo and we will promptly get back to you. Wonderful addition to my tank
These were perfect. They all arrived alive packed very well. They seem to be happy. If you are on the fence about adding clams into your freshwater tank, just try it. My tank is crystal clear.

clams looked great, shipping was about a week ahead of the original date, the clams are shipped in 2 bags with water inside a another larger insulated pouch, i didnt notice the second bag and reached out to the seller then right after i spotted the second bag and felt like an idiot.

Extremely small not big as pictured
Extremely small pebble clams sent, not big as advertised not big enough to filter water.

Good purchase
All were alive and started to move around right after releasing them into tank. Healthy Clams and the packaging was done with care.

Clam delivery
Received shipment 5 days early good thing I was returning home from vacation that day. Received 16 clams, 2 DOA open on arrival, 6 more opened within an hour, 4 more are suspected dead haven't moved in 24hrs. 4 have dug in 25% survival rate.

Surprisingly they were all alive packed well when received only issue they were smaller than I expected.

Healthy Clams
