Really nice for the price. Sturdy, Super light and made of rip stop material. Great to wear when u don’t want to risk your fine wool kilt.

Update: Returned the XL for a L/XL. It fits perfictly on the smallest snaps. So if I gain any weight I still have 2 positions to go. Replacment is the same great quality as the 1st. I have to say the trouser pockets are a neat feature.I was a little more excited than usual to pick up my Amazon package today. In it was a new kilt from Damn Near Kilt Em.Lets start with the packaging. Great reusable plastic package with logo and velcro closure. The tag on the kilt is also a sticker.In the package I found 2 freebies. A leather belt made in Scotland. As well as a swade tool pouch.I ordered an XL. Putting the kilt on I found it to fit perfectly on the tightest snaps. I am 6', 215. I wear a 36" waist pants. If I lose some weight it might fit a little big. But I can always use that free belt.One of the coolest features of this particular kilt (and the reason I got this one) is it has pants pockets. Too cool! A feature that's important to me and they didn't mention in any of the discriptions is the pleats are sewn down. Can't wait to wear this kilt on a hike.You will not regret a purchase from this company!

Damn this is nice for the price. Little dressier than my Utilakilt and a heck of a lot lighter. Love the adjustment snaps and extra snaps if I get too fat! Only thing I wish it came with silver hardware rather than the brass. May try a different model from these guys this summer. Nice job team!Btw, I'm size 45 but the 44 I ordered is perfect and has 2 snaps left to go bigger OR smaller.

When I ordered this kilt, I was looking for a lighter-weight kilt for summer wear. The rip-stop material in the kilt is a perfect weight and maintains a well-kept appearance even after a full-day's wear. The fit was as expected, make sure you measure yourself at the belly-button when ordering, not at your pants waist level. The kilt is stylish and smart for a utility kilt and the material is of the right weight to hang well--which is important for a kilt. I'm very pleased with my purchase; the overall quality of craftsmanship is excellent and I expect that I'll be wearing this kilt for years to come.

WTAF? You make a great product. It’s well constructed, quality materials, metal hardware and is sized correctly. Why…WHY would you place a fully embroidered “logo” (the size of North Dakota) on the front right hem of the kilt. I own 3 of your kilts, and at least with those I could easily remove any excessive branding patches with relative ease. Based upon the product photos, it should be a patch and NOT a fully embroidered logo! Luckily, the kilt will need to be hemmed, so hiding it will be possible.The quality of your product will sell itself without you blowtorching your brand into my retinas.

Ordered a Large and as a 6', 220 Lb Man, this fit comfortably around my HIPS at the middle snaps. Gives you some wiggle room to make it tighter and looser.Out of the package, material quality feels nice. Has pockets and came with replacement grommets should any come off with wear. Has belt loops and D Rings for any attachments you find necessary.So far, I'm happy with the purchase. Will update after first wear and wash.

Well made and comfortable. Following the sizing guide lines and you should have no problems. Probably buy another one.

My wife loves this kilt on me. It wears well, is well designed and constructed, and exudes a masculine air. Love this thing.
