Our burner tubes were in pretty rough shape, causing our grill to not heat well or evenly. If these "off brand" tubes give only a few years of service they'll have been worth it. Our grill now heats up quickly (and to a higher heat) and the heat is well distributed. Installation was quick and easy, delayed only by the cleaning of years of build up inside the grill.

I bought these and replacement flavorizer bars. These burner tubes seem pretty similar to the OEM burner tubes that they replaced. I thought they were a good value for the money.

Original screws securing original burners were VERY rusty & EXTREMELY difficult to remove. I tried WD-40 over several days; hitting screws to try to break the rusted bond; vinegar to try to dissolve rust; and a blow torch. I finally cut off the tubular part of the burners using an oscillating tool with a metal blade, leaving behind just the flat slotted sections directly beneath the screws. I was then able to remove the slotted pieces by pushing/prying them out using a screwdriver. The screws then came out using vise grips. On the new burners, the flat slotted end of the front burner was backward, i.e., the wider leg covered the screw hole. Once I get replacement screws, I will drill a hole in that wider leg to access the screw hole below it. Meanwhile, I wrapped a length of 14-gauge electrical ground wire from the front tube all the way around to the rear tube so that the presently unsecured front tube doesn't just slide off the crossover tube. (Copper melts at much higher temperatures than the grill operates.) I am very pleased with the result. Clearly, the rust is not the seller's fault, however, it would have been nice to finish this project without needing to drill a hole through always difficult stainless steel.UPDATE FOR NEW SCREWS: I could only find new screws at McMaster-Carr (p/n 90286A291 ~$9 for pack of 50): 18-8 Stainless Steel Flanged Hex Head Screws #12 x 1/2". These worked perfectly.

This is a replacement of a replacement for a genesis silver gas burner. No fuss would buy again.

Parts were not made to mfg specs. Supposed to be exact for for Weber kit 7508. Photo clearly shows the notch in the spade ends are stamped opposite to kit 7508 and will not fit. Researched customer reviews (should have done this in the first pace) and found this is a common problem. Out of curiosity researched DIY videos on YouTube and found many of the same problematic examples. Some frustrated customers sent the item back and a few used a Dremel to "cut-to-fit." Spoke to your customer service agents (after 30 minutes of frustrating riot conversations) who was difficult to understand and could not grasp what I was describing. He even asked for photos, which I provided. He persisted in offering a refund or a gift card as I pressed to find out if this mfg defect was going to be fixed. After about an hour time investment I thanked then told your agent I would cut my own notch. Bid him farewell and went on to something else. He called me back wanting to provide me with a refund. I repeated my pending effort to fire up my Dremel and again bid him farewell. I have had marvelous service from Amazon....up until now. This was a doozie.
