LuvyDuvy - Freeze-Dried Ice Cream - Neapolitan Sandwich (Chocolate-Vanilla-Strawberry) - 3 Pack

I buy this each year for my son for Christmas. It actually does taste good. It’s a dry texture that melts in your mouth and tastes like ice cream.

So if you are in your mid to late 30s you defintely had astronaught ice.cream as a kid. I remember it not having the chocolate wafers, but pretty good. The chocolate wafer is by far the worst part, but even it is not terrible. Just remember to have a glass of water near by because these are dehydrated. Now price wise they are fine for a trip down memory lane, but to me a bit steep for an everyday snack, you can get the regular ice cream bars a lot cheaper at your local grocery store.

It’s obviously a bit expensive but overall it was good, very sweet and it smells like milk powder but the flavors are there. Also they came a bit crushed up. But I did get very sick of them after I ate 2 bags. It was so sweet, if I even thought of eating another it made me feel nauseous so be carful and don’t eat too much in a day.

I bought these to show my 10 yr old astronaut ice cream, so as a novelty. The coolness quickly wore off though because she didn't like the flavor. All three were cracked too, but that didn't surprise me, and it made it easier to eat. I still have one out of three sitting in the house because she won't eat it, not typical behavior around dessert. I won't buy it again, but for the novelty the first time, why not. Unsure if there are better brands out there, but at these prices it's better not to enjoy them too much.

I knew the price was outrageous, but thought it’d be fun to try once and give us a little joy while stuck at home (social distancing). I was wrong. They are wrapped in paper like a regular ice cream sandwich, but each one was cut through the paper & ice cream. Then it was sealed in the packaging as shown. It’s tasted like an ice cream sandwich that had been melted and refrozen, I’m guessing that had something to do with them being cut? I gave our son a bite of mine and he won’t even open his. My husband ate his because he didn’t want to waste it, but wouldn’t finish mine. Very disappointing
