I'm not sure if the problem is with Hanes applying the name too indiscriminately or what, but other Hanes Active socks were thicker quality than these. These are very thin without much stretch: effectively a dress sock. They look fine, but they were not at all what I was looking for.

Recently, I purchased Hanes Men's Active Cool Crew Socks and Men's FreshIQ X-Temp Active Cool Crew Socks, both sold by Garment Avenue. What I received was two identical packs of socks with the only noticeable difference between them being a label. Both are not suitable in hot weather. The material is not durable at all and falls away after first wear. Will never buy it again.
