Five Star Baking Set!
We own many of the Learning Resources play food sets and my 21 month old daughter loves to help me bake, so she loved this set! You get a large bowl/spoon, egg, knife, bread, measuring cup, measuring spoons, rolling pin, cookie sheet and dough, 4 cut out cookies, cookie cutter, spatula, and 3 types of pie/fruit fillings. All of the Learning Resources food sets are made of high quality and very durable vinyl material and this is no exception. I love that she can pretend to roll out the dough and that the little cookie cutter has a suction cup that actually picks up the cookies from the cookie sheet so she can serve them. Another benefit of the dough/individual colored cookie shapes is that it acts like a puzzle when you put the cookies back in, so you can use it for spatial reasoning, shape identification, and color identification. She loves to slice the bread and strawberry with the knife and that also works on fine motor skills. Also, the cookie sheet actually fits perfectly into her play oven. We also love the crackable egg because it's just like when we cook in the real kitchen and make pretend play more realistic. The only thing I didn't like is that the bread doesn't slice too well because the velcro on it has difficulty separating with the lightweight knife, so she does get frustrated by that. Therefore, I very lightly attach the slices together to make it easier for her to cut. Also, the plastic that the bowl and measuring cup/spoons are made of feels cheap. But regardless of these minor flaws, we LOVE this set and highly recommend it!

Cute baking experience
I have purchased multiple learning resources little sprouts sets with no regrets! The quality if the materials is top notch. My son tries to squeeze the foods and they do not crease or fold. They are a soft plastic but very sturdy. I especially love the realistic appearance and textures too. The cookie dough is soft but solid and the different colored sgapes are great for teaching. They easily come out of the dough without the red knob (which doesn't stick anyways). The pie wedges are great and the fruit color matches the wedge color. The red/strawberry slice can be difficult to close if both slices are in it. The bread slices are very cute but i did notice they are much softer plastic and do get squeezed inward. Luckily they pop back to shape, i wont complain as this is the first of many products that did this. The idea of the cracked egg is really cute, but I have kept the egg separate as it is impossible for my son to close it. The bowl, measuring spoons, cup, roller, ect are all excellent quality too. This set includes: bowl, mixing spoon, measuring spoons on ring, roller, cookie dough with 4 shapes, 3 pie wedges, 1 apple slice, 1 peach slice, 2 strawberry slices, knife, cookie sheet, 3 slices of bread, 1 cracked egg, 1 egg. I would say, they should have included cookie cutters to enhance the play.

Great kitchen set!
This was purchased for my four year old who loves to play kitchen and it has made her pretend play even more fun. There are four shaped cookies that fit into holes in the cookie dough. Use the rolling pin to roll out the dough and the suction cup cookie cutter to place the cookies onto the cookie sheet. The cookie cutter is a great idea, but has trouble sticking to two of our cookies because they aren't completely flat. This really hasn't been an issue though. The pie tops come off so that you can put the fruit inside. The egg has been a big hit even though it is hard to close the shell with the egg inside. She still loves cracking it into the bowl and using the measuring cup and spoons to pretend to make something. The bread is also a favorite, especially being able to cut it apart with the knife (the slices attach with velcro). Overall, this has been a very fun set and is the most played with out of her kitchen things. I was impressed with the variety and durability of the set as well as the fact that it is realistic for pretend play. I would highly recommend it.

Educational and fun!
Love this! I am not a fan of plastic kitchen food. My kids have dishes and imaginations. But I saw the cookie dough and cut outs on an episode of Good Luck Charlie and I fell in love. Took me a few years to track down that this was where it came from, since most stores carry a different set. My kids always want to help roll out dough and make cookies, so this was perfect. I was sure I'd just keep that part and donate the rest. However I ended up loving the whole thing. Being able to sort colors with the pie slices, practice cutting with a knife on the bread and berry, it was better than just plastic food because my kids were learning with it! Highly suggest this product. It's held up well, even though a few pieces have been lost track of through play!

Absolutely Fantastic Play Food
Any play food that you purchase from Learning Resources is absolutely fantastic! It is sturdy and so realistic. I have a special needs grandson with Down Syndrome and he just loves playing with the food. My 7 year old granddaughter has a great time playing restaurant! I am also a special needs teacher and would highly recommend any product created by Learning Resources! They are sturdy, creative, educational, and so realistic.

Great for Pretend Play!
My two year old LOVES this baking set. She loves to help me in the kitchen, so this is perfect for her. I gave 4 stars on durability because some of the paint on the fruit slices did chip off. Kind of concerns me, but the set is awesome enough that it out-weighs that concern. The strawberry has velcro so it can be "cut" in half (only half of the strawberry fits into the pie). The egg yolk doesn't actually fit into the egg shell like I thought it would, but my daughter has a blast cracking the egg anyway. She isn't able to fit the two halves of the shell back together yet though, so I do have to help her with that each time she cracks it. Overall, we love this set and would purchase it again!
