Working great in a warehouse environment!
So far these radios are doing great 1 out of 9 crapped out after a day but I contacted customer service on their Facebook page and they got back the next day and sent me a new one at no cost to me! I got the short antennas and the shoulder piece along with these and a month in and they are still working great. I recommend these for warehouse work that’s tougher then others or construction or anything that might break a radio easy they are doing fantastic!

Move over Motorola
These radios are awesome. We have used some very expensive name brand radios for years. They have not been the most dependable or durable. To replace one cost close to $400. I found these on Amazon as a set of 9, yes 9 radios, for around the $400 mark. I took a chance and bought a set. The communications is so much clearer with these units. I left one turned on overnight to see how the batter would last and when I came in the next day it still showed 1/2 charge. Our expensive radios had trouble talking from inside of our metal freezer to the front office. These Samcom FPCN30A units have absolutely no problem communicating from inside the freezer. Though I don't recommend that you try this at home, our maintenance team has already dropped one of the units a couple of times from around 5' with no ill results. As a 30 veteran electronic technician, I am impressed with the features and quality of this radio. I had a couple of questions when I first fired them up on a Saturday so I fired off an email to the company. In just a matter of minutes I had a response that answered all of my questions. If you are looking for some new radios, give these a try and you won't be disappointed.I have worn he BT earpiece for a few days now. I absolutely love the convenience of no wires to get in my way as I work. I can even take my radio off my belt and still be connected as long as I stay in close proximity to the radio. I plug it in to charge overnight and put it on at 5am when I begin equipment set up. It stays on and in my ear until at least 5pm, when I go home. As you can see it is lasting 12+ hours on a charge with moderate use. That is awesome. On the transmit side, the sound is awesome, better than any of the other types of earpieces. It is extremely muffled. I do love the comfort of the earpiece and the fact that it has small holes in it to let some background noise in. I wear it for 12 hours a day with no real discomfort.

Nice working radios
These radios seem to hold up to our use very well. I had 3 other radios 2 started out good then one at a time just quit, the company replaced a couple but by the time the replacements arrived more had quit so I sent the whole lot back and moved on . the other one just had terrible sound. I ordered 9 of Samcom's FPCN30A radios and they started out good so I ordered 3 more, about 5 months 1 could receive but not send, customer service was taking care of this when another had a belt clip failure and broke the screen. Customer service took care of both problems and all radios are working great! We have 12 radios on 10 acres and keep 2 radios for backup. We work at a Recycling center so a lot of time there is a big pile of steel between us and they still connect very well. We are very happy with these radios and will be getting more as needed. The only change I want to see is for Samcom to add Bluetooth built into the FPCN30A along with a wireless Bluetooth shoulder microphone because with the wired mic the wire is a hazard for us , getting in the way and catching on stuff in tight spaces. I have used wireless mic's that use a piece that plugs into the radio to connect to the wireless mic but they have been unreliable as to how long the charge is on the adaptor part because sometimes it last all day (12hours) other times 3 to 4 hours. the mic itself seems to stay charged a couple days but is useless when the other part go dead and you don't know until you realize you can't get a response from anyone ! Kind a made me mad when this kept happening and I've tried 3 different brands with the same results. If Samcom will make a radio with Bluetooth built in and a wireless shoulder mic for it there stars will go to 10 !! Samcom has been great to deal with and very helpful, I will continue to use there equipment !! We have now been using them for just over a year and they do a great job !!

Solid unit, nice design - local test good
These are comfortable, solid units; as advertised. Initial testing at 1 mile in a highly residential city was successful; though failed beyond that. This was at minimum range of manual. Planning more significant test while hiking in mountains!

range poor
Range is not good even in high mode which is 5 watt but our expensive motorola radios are 4 watt and WAY more range than these. The supplier did try to offer some other antennas and outdoor base station to help but that won't help me out for my needs. The seller reached out again and offered to send us another set on a different frequency and longer antennas. Thats just not the solution for us. First problem, setting the radios to 5 watt long term would require us to obtain an FCC license. The antenna is already so long I don't want longer. That's just more to get in the way. Our Motorola 200D radios had a short antenna and way outperformed these. I would say double the range and clarity. However that came at a $500+ per radio price tag. The effort, brief, time it would've taken to make this system work outweigh the price savings. Maybe in the future when the base station antenna system comes out we can revisit these. For now we are using RapidRadio for $50 a year. Whole lot less grief and more reliable as long as you have cellular signal.

Great radios
I run a construction crew and for the price of a guy breaks or loses one it isn’t a big hit in the bottom line, clear and upto a mile range in tree covered hill covered area.
