Just received this and have only used this once. My previous clippers were Whal and I thought they were good. These Phillips blow the Whal out the window. The blades are so sharp and glide through my hair. Also the fact you don't have to change the guards all the time. The beard attachment is also excellent. The clippers charged in a hour which is a plus .Would highly recommend .

Excellent, much better than ones I've had previously. Easy to use adjustments etc. Even cut and trim.

Great clippers. Good for both beard and also self-shaving my scalp! Unfortunately the shortest you can go down to is 3mm, you can’t do 1 or 2mm.

I can only rate the performance based upon what the product has to achieve for my personal use: I don't have enough on top to have any style, maybe a Bobby Charlton, so I use the trimmer to keep my hair short and tidy.I had some trepidation when I first used it but common sense prevails, a bit like carpentry, better take off a little at a time and achieve exactly what you want slowly than rush and find yourself with more 'shavings' than 'wood' !!The weight and shape makes holding it very comfortable when trimming out-of-sight areas ie it isn't fiddly, you get a good sense of what it's doing when you comb through your diminishing locks.Easy enough to alter the settings by twisting the dial but just be mindful of where you hold the trimmer during use, it is possible to allow your hand to drift only slightly and then it'll be in contact with the dial.Quick to use (for me) so I use it every 3 weeks or so. With no more trips to the barber it paid for itself inside 3 months although I do miss the banter.

Fantastic device for its price, good quality, works perfectly, battery last quite long time, zero reasons to complain.
