Best drugstore priced deep black gel/cream eyeliner EVER
This is the best drugstore line brand of black gel/cream eyeliner I've tried (*trust me, I'm a beauty blogger & amateur makeup artist who's been doing makeup and working with different products for over 20 years) at the $15 and under prices point. There are other very good ones out there at this price point, but for the deepness of pigment, I cannot find another PURE JET BLACK (midnight black? blackest black? what's the current correct name of the deepest, darkest possible black shade out there for makeup? Whatever it is, this item is IT!) gel/cream eyeliner like this one. The pigment level is the deepest I've seen, and does not fade in any way once the product dries after application. It also does not fade or lose intensity in any way over the course of its being worn. Normally, if I use a black gel/cream liner on myself or a client, I will then go over it with a liquid liner to intensify the color. That extra step of the 2nd coat of liquid liner is not necessary in any way when using this Loreal gel/cream eyeliner: the line you get from it is deep, dark and glossy enough to emulate the effect of a traditional liquid eyeliner over gel liner. As far as the texture of the formula: it is smooth, and goes on easily (either with the included brush or with another brush of choice; I've tried many with it and all work well). In addition, I have found that if capped tightly after each use this gel/cream doesn't seem to dry out as fast as some other brands' similar products do (which helps save $$).The brush also comes with a handy snap on/snap off cap that you can continue to use after your first opening (not just to keep it safe in transit & until you first open it). The brush quality is also very high, with evenly cut bristles and a design that allows you to apply a clean, precise line without being overly wasteful of how much product is picked up by the brush & stuck in the bristles. I love this eyeliner so much that I've now set it to my Subscribe & Save to ensure that I always have enough for my personal use & for my clients.

Awesome budget product; definitely has edge on department store favorites
I've tried MAC, Bobbi Brown, Pop, Pixi, and e.l.f. cream/gel eyeliners, and for a long time Bobbi was the only thing I'd use. However, I tried this product on a whim (austerity measures) and it will likely be my staple for a while. Here's the breakdown:* In the jar it appears to be a lighter (redder?) shade of brown, but the "espresso" color actually goes on much richer than browns that MAC or e.l.f. carry. It is a little bit lighter than Bobbi Brown's espresso, but when applied it still appears black except on very close inspection.* The consistency is very creamy, especially compared to Bobbi Brown or Pixi, making it easier to get on the brush, although slightly more difficult to apply without smudging.* Despite being so creamy, it sets very quickly, doesn't run or smear at all, and barely fades after a long (sweaty) day.* I've been using it for a few weeks and it hasn't dried up at all (unlike Pixi or Pop potted eyeliners I've tried).* I've had no eye irritation.* The brush it comes with is surprisingly good; I still prefer the shape of MAC or Bobbi eyeliner brushes over this one, but I really like that it comes with a cap that keeps it from getting destroyed. Additionally, the length of the stem of the brush is perfect both for use and travel/storage.* This product is significantly cheaper than MAC or Bobbi Brown.

Long lasting
It's easy to put on and once it's dry it stays in place.. over all I liked it a lot.. if it had a smaller brush or perhaps an angled brush on the other end of it so you have the option to make a very thin precise line or a thicker more dramatic line would be amazing.. also if used over a primer it's ok but if used over a powder like eyeshadow whick I always do for a cat eye after a while it can get like flakey almost and it comes off real easy if you sweat at all

Love, love, love the intense Matte black!. It’s not shiny
I love this liquid gel this is my first time using a liquid gel so I cannot compare it but I use some pretty high in liquid liners and they do not compare to this!! I tried it out for the first time today and let me tell you it went on smoothly although I have to practice cause putting this on is not very forgiving once you put it on but I would take that any day being that this thing does not come off easily I just got through rubbing my eyes and none of it came off It has a Matt look! And I love it! I have bought liquid liners that claim to be matte and never looked anywhere near matte, This one claims to have a high shine which is crazy because when I saw the reviews most of them said it looked matte and in the pictures it looked really matte the only thing that looks shiny Is the gel until you put it on, It goes on so smoothly, it’s an intense black that you could definitely see. I highly recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a matte Gel that stays on without having to worry it’ll come off!

Love the Infallible line!
I love the infallible line! This cream liner really surprised me though. It’s super soft and goes on smoothly (a little bit goes a long way!) normally with cream liners they smudge on my upper lid when I wear them, this one didn’t and it’s the middle of August in Florida. I put on a light layer of it and it did come off a little bit just in the inner corner of my eye but not so much you can tell unless you’re up close. I also tight lined with it and it looks beautiful still (I’ve had it on for about 11 hours now). Normally I would put some black eyeshadow over the liner (for tight lining) to keep it “in place”, but I wanted to see what this eyeliner was capable of. I will say I don’t know if it would smudge on the upper lid if I wasn’t wearing eyeshadow. I also didn’t use the brush it came with, I had a wet n’ wild eyeliner brush I had gotten from my local dollar tree. I also don’t know if it hardens on the brush because I always use saline solution to clean it off after every use.
