I do not write 'reviews' however this product was so exceptional, felt compliments well earned. Needed a lightweight harness for our tiny Chihuahua (a 2.6 lb tripod), and particularly something which would not put any pressure on her throat. After returning an earlier harness, found this one - which has just arrived. WOW, it's such a beautifully made product - not only is if fully adjustable, but everything is so softly and daringly padded for comfort ... and the accompanying leash is by far the best, and most well designed, I've ever found. The manufacturer clearly seems to care greatly for all our fur babies. The single thought I could offer them is that the harness (and leash) seems s a tiny bit heavy for tiny, frail, pups - however, 'Juiia' seems to LOVE it. Thank you so very much for producing such a fine product.

Finally found a comfortable harness for the puppies after buying many styles (butterfly/8-shaped and padded harnesses. Those were bulky and would still cause them to cough with a little tug. Because there was a strap that connects the neck to the girth part of them, it would still choke them somehow. I love how these harnesses are easy to get in and out of. XS works for all of our pups. Our Chihuahua's girth are as follows: 8 month old/11.5 inch girth/4 pounds, 2 year old/14 inch/6 pounds and our Shorkie (Shih Tzu dominant) is 10 years old/14.5 inch girth/9 pounds. Love the leashes, too. All is reflective and once we got rid of all the retractable leashes, it's so much easier to walk all of them! The only issue is the metal ring clanking against the leash clip but I just applied waterproof medical tape around the clip and it minimized the sound. I only used that because I have massive amounts of rolls of the stuff. These harnesses and leashes are the best!

I ordered 3 of these for my three foster girlies - chihuahuas. I needed XXS harnesses. I have worked with a lot of harness and leash set-ups in rescue and I have to say, these impressed me! I like that the chest piece is adjustable and has the extra bit of velcro to secure the excess so that it doesn't curl up and loosen at the ends. I can easily adjust to accommodate the fit for my 6lb baby as well as the 4 lb. Honestly, the XXS harness will probably fit them forever as there is plenty of room to adjust the size. They are very easy to put on and off - once the chest and girth are sized and fitted, just drop over the head and snap the belly strap. If fitted properly will be very difficult to slip out of accidentally. They appear well made and I like the felt cushioning on the chest and girth strap. Some of the pics show a ring on the chest strap - mine do not have that, which is really unimportant to me with an XXS dog. On a larger dog, the back ring might be a little flimsy? The leash is a good length for a little dog and I like that it is adjustable - could probably work well as a seat belt restraint as well by threading the seat belt through the shorter end. And I like the reflective stitching. I think I'll be ordering a couple of more to keep on hand for my future fosters as I planned to send these out with my girlies when they are adopted!

Sometimes XXS is still kind of big for some dogs especially for Chiwahwah puppies. Ours was kind of big for our puppy but she will grow into it. In the meantime we will only use the leash with with a collar.

I have been looking for a harness for my little 4 pound chihuahua puppy and while it is a little big on the underside of him I think it will still work well. I like that it doesn’t go around his arms so that his arms are free to move around. He is a very energetic puppy and likes to jump and skip around. This does not prohibit him from doing that but still works as a harness. It’s got fur on the inside to be soft for him and it’s even reflective in the light for night time use. 5/5

Great little harness! My puppy is just 3.5 months old and scared of his reflection and vinyl tile. But this harness seemed to give him extra courage from the minute I put it on him. Suddenly he is visiting the kitchen and passing mirrors without a single quiver.Pip is a 5.5blbs cavapoo and 30% fluff. We bought an xxsmall and have it adjusted the very smallest. The fit is still roomy enough for growth and can be adjusted larger. The bands are nicely padded without being bulky and all the hardware is well attached.Given that Pip is just a puppy he hasn't learned to walk nicely on a leash yet. But he can pull quite hard without harming himself while wearing his harness.The refective stipe on the leash and harness really stands out in low light too.Update: One month later Pip is still usinng this harness at now 8 lbs but he has just about grown out of the xxs size. It is still a great harness and looks nearly new. We wil buy another in larger size.

Harness and leash really not for small dogs. I have a 4 pound toy poodle and the harness is too bulky and material is thick. The strap on the leash is wider then I like and the clasp it too large and heavy for a small dog.But, for a huskier dog I could see this working nicely.

I get lots of compliments on this harness/leash set. The color is exactly how it was pictured on the website. It's sturdy, and I expect it to last for a long time. The front ring is great to use when my puppy is pulling too much, so I have this option to use when he is particularly stubborn. I feel confident that he cannot escape from the harness, and it's easy to remove in the event of an emergency. I'll purchase this again if the need should arise, although I doubt that will happen soon due to the quality of the harness.
