Q: Would it work for making a wire skeleton for dolls?

Very mailable, perfect for creating skeleton. Also very soft, be careful if you’re creating heavier pieces as it will bend with weight

I guess it depends on the type of hairband, and how you intend to use it. 3 strands of this item should be enough. It's possible that one strand will be enough. It's very strong stuff, but bends easily.

Q: How does this thickness translate into gauge? I’m looking good for a certain thickness fot stability, but too thick and I can’t really work with it.
