Easy way to quickly make grass green!
Great way to quickly make grass green! Our sprinklers were not working and we experienced a drought. Much of the grass in my front yard went dormant. We live in an association and I was concerned about getting fined. I was able to fix the sprinklers, but we will have to wait weeks for the grass to recover. This product was easy to use and instantly made the yard look better!Mix 1 cup of product per gallon of water. Make sure to purchase an applicator!

Turned my yard green!
Each bottle is shrink wrapped when shipped to prevent leaks. The quality of the paint is amazing, after I emptied the bottle into my sprayer I refilled the bottle with water three times to make sure I didn't leave any paint in the bottle. I have a battery powered 4 gallon sprayer so I used an entire 32oz bottle each time. Basically 8oz per gallon. I needed 2 bottles to cover the entire area. If you have a battery powered sprayer adjust the amount it dispenses so you dont end up with dark patches because it comes out to quickly. Took me an hour from start to finish. Realized I will need a third bottle for some touch up areas. Overall satisfied with the results. Waiting to see if it lasts 3 months. I live in a dessert area with a hot/dry climate during the summer so this i my way to have a green lawn without a high water bill. Clean up wasn't difficult, just rinsed out everything with water. I will definitely use this product again in the fall.

Exactly as stated and my lawn is now really pretty!
I love this product! Applied yesterday, which takes time but so worth it. I have dry patches and where I had a tree removed the grass hasn’t grown in and just looked bad. Now, my lawn looks as if I spent a fortune on it. It’s so pretty and the color is a darkish beautiful green. It rained hard last night but did not change the color or coverage. I am so impressed.

Try it, you’ll like it
I only gave this four stars because I want to wait to see how long it will last. I will update my review once I know.I bought this to cover up damaged areas from vegetation killer overspray and some dog pee stains. I mixed it in the kitchen sink by filling the gallon sprayer with water first and then mixing only 3 ounces of the colorant with water in a glass measuring cup and then pouring that directly into the sprayer. Very easy and not at all messy. 3 ounces vs the recommended 8 oz per gallon was the perfect color match for my perennial rye lawn. It covered nicely in one coat and I only needed a gallon of the mixture to do my entire front lawn and all the spots that were damaged. I did get a couple of drips on my concrete curbing, but it easily cleaned up with Dawn Power wash. I will definitely be keeping this in my landscaping arsenal.

It does exactly what it says it will do!
This works great on the bare spots in my yard. My neighbors all asked what I used. They will be buying this product.

Didn't work for me.
This expensive dye didn't work for me. It's a very odd color green, not found in nature. Looks like I sprayed paint on my lawn. Instead of brown patches, I have odd, green-colored patches that stick out like the brown patches. I wasted my time not to mention my money. I do not recommend this product and I would not use it again if it were free.

3/4 of the paint's color disappeared within 24 hours. Sprayed twice and still have little results?
UPDATE 2: (Feb. 13, 2021) I will update my rating and add photos in two weeks - after I retry and compare their two paints.---------------------UPDATE 1: (Feb. 12, 2021). Customer service was VERY HELPFUL and is sending me two containers free of charge. I might have gotten a bad batch or such. They say that never happens. Either way dormant (light yellow) grass might require 4 times the amount versus non-dormant grasses if using their perennial rye type.---------------------Feb. 11, 2021MAIN COMPLAINT: It looked REALLY GREAT immediately after I sprayed it. But the paint's color seemed to disappear about 24 hours later. Confused, I frustratingly sprayed it again. So that is two layers of this stuff now. (32 fl oz/gallon). 48 hours later and it still looks super faded and I still see the dead white/light green grass. I don't know what to say. Is the dead grass absorbing all the color?! It shouldn't do that. I live in Northeast Florida and have various dead and bad rye grasses. For me this product is like the disappearing ink you bought as a kid. Very upset. It DID NOT rain any day and I sprayed it around 5 PM every day.SECOND COMPLAINT: A gallon only covered 2000 square feet (not 5,000-10,000 sq ft as advertised) for me when using 16 fl oz per gallon with a quality sprayer. I used a measuring cup and big plastic red cup to measure. 3 days later, the lawn still looks like only 20% of what it looks like immediately after you spray it.Photos to come when I get a chance.
