Timeless Classic
I grew up playing the first game not realizing years later that there were sequels, just recently this one is getting a remaster, I never got a chance to fully invest in this game on emulator, now I can on the console it was meant for, luckily I had 3 already, just need Onimusha Blade Warriors and Dawn of Dreams now and I will have every game on PS2

Great 👍
The game came well packaged. There was a little note from the seller inside so we could tell they had opened the case for inspection. It even had the original game booklet! No defects and it's running on our refurbished ps2 great. Would buy from this seller again in the future :)

2 is bigger than 1
Getting Onimusha 2 was a great choice. This sequel may have departed from focusing on Samanosuke and his quest, but the new protagonist Jubei Yagyu is a perfect substitute. This game follows Jubei on his quest for revenge against Nobunaga for destroying his village. Along the way, he is met by four other warrior who he must build relationships with and depending on it, this can help or hinder his journey. This game is longer than the first one and it is replayable since you have many different scenarios based on your character relationship.I feel Onimusha 2 is one of the better series because of the plot and characters. Also this is the last game to really have a creepy/horror tone. In Oni 3 and Dawn of Dreams, that horror aspect was absent as they are geared towards more action packed.Pros: great graphics, solid dialogue and acting, awesome soundtrack, and strong characters and plotCons: the moving the character is clunky just like Oni 1, enemies can be a pain in the neck especially if you cant see them due to fixed camera setting, and puzzles are boring. Its pretty much a side story of this series and dont really need to play this to understand Oni 3 and Dawn of DreamsIf you are a fan of Onimusha, this is a great addition to your playstaion collection.

One of the best PS2 had to offer.
This is definitely my favorite Onimusha game and, for a very long period, this was my absolute favorite game on the PS2 (I would eventually claim that Onimusha 3 was my favorite because of Jean Reno, but all in all, this game is better). The game was written very well (for a PS2 game of the time), had multiple playable characters depending on your choices (I freaking loved Magoichi), truly memorable villains and a great control scheme (at the time anyway, we've come a looong way from the resident evil tank controls). Honestly, this is probably one of the very few games that I played through multiple times to see all of the side character stuff (before there were 'achievements' to try and get you to do that sort of thing). The segments with recurring villain?/antihero? Gogandantes (a very haughty demon swordsman who constantly challenges you and speaks like a Shakespeare reject) are still some of of the funnest moments in gaming history for me.

Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny
Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny its a good game sony just needs to either remake the game or have it for download in sony store online as download - you play as a samurai returning to home to see his family killled and the town in chaos-- as a swordsman you go out to make a difference -- to take out the mastermind of the enemy and meet new friends--- give someone enough gifts they will pop up at the end and in different places to help you out-- thgeres a walkthrough booklet to help you as it seems some chests or areas have tricky puzzles. -owens
