Davidson's Tea Bulk, Oothu Black Fop, 16 Ounce

Huge fan of Davidsons. Yet another fantastic tea. Try the earl grey and the peppermint leaves. Great products, and no I am not being paid for this...

Most intact leaves. Good flavor if not over brewed. Rich color.

I use it for Kombucha and it has a fantastic flavor that my family and other's who have tried it love. A friend who had been making Kombucha much longer than I loved the flavor more than theirs and wanted to switch to this tea.

This of a great company and I absolutely love every tea I have gotten from them. This black tea is especially delicious!

Alright I've ordered several bags of davidson's tea and have come to the conclusion that they have excellent gems of teas like their Kukicha(its darker than I'm used to but it's good) Keemun Congou, China Oolong, Mao Jian jasmine and Copper Mountain Oolong which tastes a lot like a decent to good darjeeling. Oothu is extremely light with hints of a decent keemun but increasing the amount of leaves and temperature brought the flavor which is decent the imperial green, while an Indian tea, tastes a great similar to mao feng or green tranquility. Davidson's is one of the better bulk tea suppliers but understand that once you read bulk a certain level of qaulity is lost but the quality loss is small here.

I wanted a strong tea unlike the teas in supermarkets, but I was somewhat disappointed that the leaves were twigs and they did not impart much flavor.

I little too “smokey” for my taste.
