Works as expected, but very noisy. But I’ll put up with it because of the arthritis. does not work as well on smaller caps.

This is fantastic! Bought it for my mom for her bday as she has carpal tunnel and is also is 70 so she struggles opening things. We tried it immediately to make sure it was easy for her to use. It fits a variety of different jars and is perfect for her. Works very well. Takes 2 AA batteries and then ur up and running. This will be so helpful for her. She opened the jar with not one problem by herself making her feel better cause she hates asking people for help. I would absolutely recommend this. I also got her an electric bottle opener lol

We purchased this jar opener on March 12, 2025. Have used it three times. Now it just spins and will not reset itself for reuse. Tag on opener has tag displaying "12 Months Warranty" along with phone number and customer service listing. Today May 13, 2025 I received a new jar opener direct from manufacturer. I contacted customer service, explained my problem, furnished their requested information and here it is today. I will be testing the new replacement soon and hopefully it will work as expected. This company lives up to it's 12 month warranty

I had a problem with my first opener. I contacted the manufacturer who stood up and after sending then a picture of the broken opener they sent me a replacement without blinking an eye. Their customer service is excellent

Cheep! Cheap!! Broke after 8 cans.Update... Apparently, kitchenmuh reads the comments. They sent an apology for the difficulty with the opener and sent a brand new opener. Better than most companies in that regard. Now...we'll see how this one does in the long run. Stay tuned.It appears as though the major problem is quality control. In reviewing the comments, 7% give a one or two stars with the majority of comments being failures of one of the arms of the opener, next being the rubber "grippers" giving up, third being the motor not powerful enough or eating batteries quickly.That being said, the majority find the opener a valuable tool for persons with limited manual dexterity and/or strength. If kitchenmuh can get it's Q.C. straight, they have a great product of benefit for a lot of people.One thing, I can fault their customer service in this instance. I'll raise my review to 3 stars and see how the new one does. Hope it works well for a long time. Stay tuned!
