I love the exotic name & I recall my older sister & her teenage friends wearing Persian Melon in the 1960's. It's a lovely, vivid, bright shade that I like very much. I expected more of a melon color but the shade is lovely & formula quite creamy. Very happy with it.

I started wearing this color lipstick when it first came on the market 52 years ago. At that time it cost about 5 or 6 dollars. I loved and wore it for many years. My last tube, I gave to my daughter about 6 years ago. When I went to buy it again, I realized that a lot of others must like it too or it wouldn’t cost $44. Long story short, it was worth the cost because I love it. The color is very neutral and goes well with pinks and peach colors. You can use it with almost any colors of blush or clothing. I’m going to buy another one for a backup before the price goes up higher

Sorry but I can’t say how wonderful this lipstick is because I bought as a gift for my sister’s 90th birthday. It’s been her favorite color forever and she can no longer find it. She will be thrilled!
