Effective and durable
These are good quality stockings and seem to help with circulation. My only question is about the ribbing in the weave which I believe has caused calluses on my feet(it's still a theory). The open-toe version aren't a solution for me because they cut off circulation just behind the toes. So, if you try these just be aware of the callus issue. These are not just your garden variety calluses you get on your hand from using a hammer. They could require professional intervention. If the socks were not of such high quality, durable(I do wash mine by hand; they have lasted for YEARS) and effective I might experiment with others. I'm in my late seventies so a younger person may not have the callus issue. One last thing, if you're new to pressure socks, the 15-20 mmHg type can be a bear(probably impossible) to get on if you don't learn the technique. There are YouTube videos that will help. Of course, there is the Stocking Donner which Truform offers, but I'm still strong enough to do without that.

Compression socks by Tru-form
I have been wearing 30-40 mgh compression socks for years. I do not have a weight problem, I wear them for support of my legs. If you walk a lot or stand these are great for the legs. It helps with circulation, it keeps down fluid in the ankles and calves. And your legs feel stimulated because of the firm support.its like a girdle for the calves, or like a weight lifting belt for the waist. They are very good socks. The two best companies I have found are tru-form and Jobst.I didn't start off with 30-40 mgh, I started with the 20 mgh then moved up.I recommend them for everyone; If you are looking for socks that will help your legs while out and about.

Don't buy!!
When I put them on they were very difficult to put on because they were too tight, much tighter than my other ones. I still keep them hoping they would loosen up a little. They didn't and they continued to be difficult to put on and hurt when I wore them. When on they also had red stains that went away when they weren't on my leg. Washed the stains by hand I thought they were gone. The next time I struggled to put them on they were still there. It was obvious they only showed up when on and stretched.

Very soft and great compression
Super firm compression which is what I prefer and super soft and smooth. To me they seem to run just a tad on the small side size wise compared to the Jobst, but wasn’t a big deal to exchange the mediums up to a size large.

Finally room for the toes!
I wear these, sometimes alone or with a compression wrap. All the other compression socks I've owned squeeze my toes together. Not these. They have extra wide toe room. I use household rubber cleaning gloves to pull them on.

Size runs small for me.
CAUTION: They are non-returnable (opened or not,) so I suggest to only order 1 pair to start. These run small (for me, at least.) TOO small. I've worn various brands and styles of compression hose for at least 10 years, mainly Venosan, Jobst and The Natural.... all in size XL based on careful measurements per their sizing charts. In this case though, with the size chart telling me that XL should be good, I CAN get them on (with great difficulty,) but they are much tighter than any others, almost painfully so - which scares me that I might do damage with extended wearing. I made the mistake of buying 2 pairs at the outset and although I only tried one pair too find out they don't fit, I can't return the unopened one for exchange to 2XL. They are non-returnable, open or not. So I'll have to donate the other pair to my local Thrift Shop. Lesson learned.

Phenomenal Stockings - but - USE ONLY WITH THE RECOMMENDATION/CONSULTATION OF YOUR PHYSICIAN!
"Compression" is an UNDERSTATEMENT! I have had "rogue" swelling in my right ankle and foot for 10 years now due to an old softball-related knee injury and no matter which compression hose I have ever purchased for it, either it took DAYS UPON DAYS to help, or it did not help at all. At the advice of my Physician - WITH PROPER MEASUREMENT - she told me to TRY 30-40 mmHg stockings to see if they would help. These stockings, managed to dissipate the swelling within 10 hours where for the first time in said 10 years, both of my feet and ankles looked the same! Please remember, this mcg is at the HIGH end of compression therapy (only 40-50 mmHg and 50+ mmHg being higher) and SHOULD ONLY BE PURCHASED WITH THE RECOMMENDATION/CONSULTATION OF YOU PHYSICIAN AND WITH PROPER MEASUREMENT! You can harm yourself once you go above 25 mmHg, ESPECIALLY if you suffer from advanced peripheral obstructive arterial disease, heart failure, septic phlebitis, oozing dermatitis and advanced peripheral neuropathy. When it comes to the sizing - you MUST BE MEASURED CORRECTLY FOR THIS LEVEL OF COMPRESSION! Should I have done my own measurement or went by what I thought to be correct, I would have purchased a larger size, when, in actuality, I was only an X-Large. Incorrectly fitting compression stockings can cause a new set of health issues. Now, I am 42 years old and LUCKILY, I do not have any issues with strength in my upper body . . .because STRENGTH IS NEEDED to put these on! It takes me Five(5) minutes to get ONE on correctly (I only need for my right ankle/foot) and I cannot see how ANYONE who was older than say 50 or someone that has compromised strength in hands/arms would EVER be able to get these on without the aid of a device. Truth be told though, if they are easy to get on, then you have the wrong size (again, CORRECT MEASUREMENT IS VITAL!). If you are in need of this mmHg grade of stocking, then this is the right brand for you! The quality is awesome and I foresee them lasting a VERY LONG TIME (with proper laundry care!) . . . and the price beats any medical supply house by A LOT! If your physician has recommended/advised this grade, and you have been correctly measured, you cannot go wrong with this purchase.
