Great for certain uses.
I used to warn my students away from this little packages of fiber. I used to only make needle felting sculptures and preferred carded wool to combed. Plus there’s just not enough of any one color in these tiny bags to make much of anything. But now I also make felted fiber paintings and these small amounts of roving are great to use for that. I used some for the sky and other areas of this painting. When you only need small amounts of color, these are perfect.

I purchased this to repair a Christmas sweater that previously had tinsel on it. After sewing it, wearing it and washing it, it never fell apart. Good quality for decorating and crafting.

Lots of colors... Hard to sort through/match
Pros:- lots of variety and colors to choose from- good value for priceCons:- hard to know how much of each color you have (it's a sorting and storing nightmare)- some are good chunks of wool, some are scraps stuffed together- there's no white in this package and a very small amount of light colors- the texture isn't as soft as other wools I've gotten, it feels...rough and crunchy?- it has taken 30-50% more manipulation to get it to hold shape compared to other wool I've usedOverall a good starter kit for the sake of variety, but I wouldn't order again.

Good quality wool
This is a nice pack of wool for use in needle felting. I have had no difficulty with it. The dye is well set and the wool easily felts.
