Very handy to have for the small jobs, like hemming etc

Bought to repair holes in trouser pockets. A nice simple task that would be easy with this little machine.Simple to set up for use. Just a pity it fell apart at first use. The needle height wheel fell off. It had been forced on and split. It still worked but kept falling off. Then when I tried sowing with the machine, the top cover fell off. It is poorly manufactured and just doesn't fit.Not worth the bother. Just get the needle and thread out. They do say you get what you pay for.

Not good for pants

Awkward to hold, needles are difficult to thread at the best of times, but the threader supplied is pretty useless the bobbin kept popping off. Tried to hem trousers up, but need extra hands to hold fabric taut. Stitching too visible. Taken them to a tailors who can do a better job.

I ordered this because an alterations shop wanted £10 to hem a small curtain, not a particularly difficult job I thought. I have not found this item particularly easy to use. In particular the most important task and worst described is knotting the thread at the end otherwise the seam can unravel easily because this is a one thread system. I have decided to try iron-on hemming tape instead.

this item is pretty rubbish it will work one time and not another which is very frustrating so i cannot say any thing good about it

This machine is awful, it arrived about 30 minutes ago and I've already sorted out to return it first thing in the morning. I was excited for it to arrive but that soon disappeared when it just didn't work. There's power to it, I press the button, even without cloth in place and it just hums at me and doesn't do anything.

Was sceptical at first.I've had a go and its a great little machine.Currently hemming my grandsons school trousers.I'm so glad I got this as I hope to be using it for years to come.Small neat does the job.
