The side springs are flattened in a way that don’t stick out and potentially injure anyone in the ruck. This gives me sufficient stability for a surgically repaired ACL and a possibly torn medial meniscus. This gets me through practice without issues, however, I’m still careful so I don’t blow out my knee. Feels true to size as well.

Bought for knee support
I am 6”4” it just seem this one is a couple of inches short will not strap in place to close to knee joint. I purchased this brand as I have used before over the years.

Poorly sized, unsupportive and Amazon WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. Not much else to say, avoid at all cost. Try a sporting goods store instead of padding Jeff B.'s pockets.***Brace has also started to come apart after barely 3 months of OCCASIONAL usage. Piece of garbage, trying to get Mueller to stand behind their products for a refund, but doubtful.

Depends on What One Needs
I returned this knee stabilizer as I found it to be less stable than expected. The medial and lateral support coils were basically non-existent.

last picture has it with metal hinge, it doesn't, large/xl is really big, but feels soft on the skin
