I bought this machine for a charity event with my church and this was my first time using it and it was absolutely amazing. Not as fast as my old traditional block machine but this was so much easier to use. Once you get it dialed in, it worls pretty well with very little to know clogging. We served over 400 snow cones with it at this event, this kept up no problem, and now I bought a second one for next year so we have more capacity. Ice hopper is a bit small but again for the price I can't complain too much, it wasn't really an issue since we had a person to feed the hopper as the cones were being made so very little down time between cycles. I notice they have a model that does have a larger hopper I would suggest if you don't have as much manpower.One note I will say is invest in an ice pick to break up the large pieces of ice, makes it easier for this machine to handle otherwise it can just spin the ice chunks around without actually turning them into snow.Overall compared to other more commercial brands that cost literally thousands this is a great way in the door to adding snow cones to your snack stand without spending thousands initially. This worked amazing for our charity events that we host each year and I have no doubt this will work for your concession stand, snack bar, whatever or if you want to run a full time business selling snow cones. I just wouldn't expect the same life out of it as the commercial brands that cost thousands more than this.

Works well but the “snow” is very coarse.

Works great! You have to twist the the little knot on the front for finer ice. If you don't you can't complain that it isn't snow fine ice because it was user error. The machine works beautifully. I have made snow cones daily since we got it because we've seen 90+ temps since May. I so recommend putting the button in reverse for just a second every little bit to keep it flowing nicely. When the lid ia opened to a certain height it also shuts odd to keep littles from reaching in and getting cut. I don't let my kids use it without supervision. Makes a ton very easily. Get the Hawaiian store brand syrups. They're way better than others.

I regret not opening this right away, because now I missed the return window by 5 days. It’s way too loud and doesn’t crush the ice fast enough. Had to wait a few minutes just to make one snow cone. There’s no way this would work out in a commercial setting, because it won’t be able to crush the ice fast enough. And again, too loud, even wayyy louder than a blender!

This thing works great! Very quick to shave the ice but very loud. It gets the job done. No regrets here.

best product i bought. had for 3 years and it gets threw 400-600 snowcones for our school evens. definitely want to buy another so we can have two for our school and sport events.
