this is a fine little bag. it is smaller than i anticipated despite reading the posted measurements, due to the slight taper toward the top. not complaining, just noting it. i had ordered the minimalist wallet from the same company, which is more like a simple, petite, clutch, and thought it would go into this bag. it will, just barely, and only if you insert the narrow end first. so i ended up using them separately, which is fine. i have grown fond of this mag rapidly; it holds just the essentials, but sometimes that is an advantage. and it has a nice feel to the leather, and will age gracefully, which is important to me. its minimalist styling and sturdy, non-fussy leather finish mean it can be used for a long time. it's comfortable to carry, and in its simple way, quite stylish. ultimately i plan to get a tote in similar leather and a zip-top case for cosmetics, etc from the same company, and keep the purse and utility bag in the tote, pulling out what i need at any given moment. best of all, it is the very antithesis to big, trendy, glitzy bags, which are clumsy and look dated in a season or two. the only potential downside to its simple design is that contents can spill if it turns over (or be abstracted by an unscrupulous hand or a toddler if you aren't attentive), but for me that hasn't been a problem.if you carry only a few things and appreciate simplicity and sturdiness, this is an excellent choice.

Bought many ‘leather’ bags online and most of them are worse than the pictures either not real leather, cheap quality material or poor finishing. This bag is great, thick leather with no defect, simple and yet sturdy finishing. It is definitely better what I expected for the price. Saw some comments on the small size, so it is better for buyers to fully understand the dimension before purchasing to avoid disappointing. I bought this to carry camera accessories so I appreciated the smaller than bottom and yet big enough opening so it’s easy to reach for things and yet minimize thing falling out. The bag shape is modern, this bag can be a mini tote for ladies and utilities bag for men. I don’t intend to put heavy objects in it so I expect the handle last. The distressed finishing means I’m not afraid to have water or dirt on it. I did a couple medication to it for my use case, I insert a padded lining at the bottom to better protect my camera equipments & keep the bottom in flat shape, and I punched small hokes on two sides and installed quick release anchors so I can attach camera strap to carry the bag over-body when I need it. I also applied bee wax on it before first use. This is a very nice bag worthy of the extra efforts to customize it. I like it a lot.

if I could give this bag, no stars it still wouldn’t being enough to describe how god-awful this purchase was. The bag is cute so cute. I am so disappointed that I had to dispose of it completely. Not even send it back. It had to be disintegrated. I could smell it through the box before I opened it. My house reeks from the chemicals that they finished with or packed it with I don’t know my washer dryer is completely destroyed. Now nothing can get rid of the smell of this bag and the chemicals it reeked of. Honestly if I could sue, I would. They owe me a washer dryer. And every piece of clothing in my house smells this way now my furniture smells of it. My daughter and I smell of it. I don’t think I can sell my house just from this bag being inside for one day. I don’t know how to completely express how awful this purchase was. To get rid of it I had to triple bag it and take it out of my garage and throw it down the street because if it entered my car, my car would be ruined as well. I give this -1,000,000 stars. I can’t believe this Company could expect this item to be usable. I couldn’t even throw it out in my garage. The smell permeates everything it is near you don’t even have to touch it because you will smell like it just from being within hundred feet of it. I don’t think I can sell my house. No one would buy it. I am not kidding or exaggerating. I threw up when I opened the box originally, I thought the smell would go away. I hung it outdoors for several hours. I washed it in my washer and dried it a little bit. My entire house is ruined. Every item in my house is ruined. I don’t think we will ever get rid of the smell

Pros: 1. It’s a cute, all purpose, go with just about anything handbag (Color: Bourbon Brown). 2. It’s a good size. Will fit a wallet, keys, phone and more.Cons: 1. It arrived a little scratched up (but I think that’s just because of the material). Not a big deal for me, but it could be for someone else. 2. There really should be some sort of stitching around the top and handle portion for support and to give it a better-quality look. 3. The biggest flaw for me is the that the handle it too small to fit a normal size hand though, so I can’t walk around with it on my wrist. I’m forced to carry it in my hand.Overall, I give it a solid 7 out of 10. It’s the size and color that I want. But the quality could be a little better for the price.

My Hide & Drink bag arrived quicker than my last order which took 1 month. Very pleased with how it was packaged. I am a FAN of H&D, Heather! I really miss the nice canvas bags they use to provide with products. It would of been nice to have to store my beautiful leather purse in to prevent scuff marks etc. The bag is great to carry a wallet, cell and lipstick in - its PERFECT! My only issue I see like other reviewers have commented - the bag at the top dimensions is narrower than at base of purse. I'm still pleased as always with H&D. Beautiful bag...Thank you H&D!

I actually find this to be a little annoying it's too stiff. And I love leather products something about this thing didn't work out for me. Maybe the handle needed to be longer because it's stiff I'm not sure.
