Pretty disappointed
I normally dont do reviews but I had to do this one because I think it's a serious problem for something this expensive, first off almost always the left earbud will get really stupid and wont turn on the first time when I press it. It was tolerable at first but when your as busy as me and always on the go doing stuff you need everything to work as intended, that's why I didnt cheap out on my headphones since they were going to be a huge part of my day however they glitch about alot, sometimes dont turn on when pressed and they always fall out of my ear I've tried all of the extendable ear pieces but none of them have worked, I dont consider my ear to be weirdly shaped but with how much it is the ear pieces should cover a wide variety of ear shapes, the sound quality is decent when I get it to connect, and battery life is good but honestly it feels like some corners were cut with this, for $150 this honestly isn't worth it if you need something reliable, not to sound harsh but everytime I have to pick up my earbuds off the ground and search for them because none of the pieces fit my ear is alittle frustrating especially due to the price, I would appreciate if the bugs were fixed too about the connection issues, I sometimes touch them with my wet hands and maybe that's why they're acting up or perhaps the few times I've hard dropped them messed them up but this is kinda ridiculous, their nice for the first month or so but definitely dont last you for the long run.

decent headphones, but there are better ones out there for the price
I bought these in order to try out a new pair of wireless earbuds. I thought audio technica would be a good brand to buy from, but ultimately the sound quality fell short for me. I put these up against the jabra elite 65t and those blew these out of the water in terms of clarity of sound. The ATH have a decent sound to them and they have the added bass boost which is a nice touch, but the Jabra's made up for that in a overall cleaner and more crisp sound. I really love the battery life on the ATH headphones. They last forever! One thing that bugged me about them is that while I had them turned on there was a noticeable high pitched humming noise which was more evident when they were not fully placed in my ears.. This is ultimately why I returned them. I just couldn't handle the extra noise over the music. Though it wasn't loud, it was bothersome for a $150 pair of headphones.I give it three stars for great battery life, good functionality and decent sound. I take off a star for the humming noise, and the lack of comfort in your ears especially for extended wear.

A steal of a deal!
I just got this yesterday, August 11th, 2022, so this going to be a brief but insightful read. Plus I'll update my review, as time goes on. So, for now, I hope you can glean something from these words I share. I always like to preface that I purchased this unit out of my pocket. No (it'd be nice if it were so, but for now, my investments are my own, if that makes any sense) donations here. So my opinions and summary of this product is an honest breakdown of this ATHCKS5TWBK TWS. Well, here we go. Or, here I go. This IEM was originally priced at $99, I believe, down to $75. A deal in my book, for what your getting. I expected the IEM to be huge, based on what it looked like in the photos, but to me, they were far from being large. In fact, they may a little small for my gigantic ears which swallow everything that's inserted in them. I'm still working on the fit. I have a number of varying-sized silicone tips of my own, mostly purchased from Spin Fit, a brand I like. Especially the double flange tips, used with canals that are short that need a little extension, they usually work for me. I'm using them as I'm typing, and “my o my” am I quite chuffed with their performance. Particularly because the song that's playing currently is loud and extremely bass heavy. So their range, how deep they can go with the bass frequency. Specs say they can go down as far as 5hz. Boy, they’re demonstrating that, right now.In the box there is a USB and USB A (think that’s the right description, mini A) mini, silicone tips, small, medium, and large. Plus two sets of silicone fins, for creating an even tighter fit in your ear. A plastic charge and travel case, basic things nothing special about it. It serves its purpose, and that’s to charge the IEMS, nothing more. It’s nice when a little thought is put into the presentation of the product, with the quality of materials used on the IEMS, down to the box the IEMS come in. One of the prettiest sets I own is the TFZ X1E. The case is beautiful, like a piece of jewelry, that can sit next to your Faberge egg. Somewhat similar to the Mifo’s, but smaller, well built, they fit nicely into one's ear. And, it had decent battery life, about 6 to 7 hours. The battery on these (Audio Technica) buds is no joke. I’ve seen for myself how long the batteries can last. Which is a feat I have not seen any other (or I’m not familiar with) brand accomplish. I got somewhere between 12, to 15 hours, at least. Can’t go wrong there, can ya? Nope! The best detail about the charging case is that I can keep my tips on the IEMS, without it preventing the top from closing. Something I’m very relieved about. Having to remove the tips in order to get the IEMS to fit in the case, is a pain to the derrière. Right now I have what I need to spend a few days with the IEM. I’ll make updates as I go along. I'll be back.

Started out great. Too bad it didn't last.
These sound quality was great! I thought they were comfortable and was happy with my purchase until a month in the left ear bud stopped working. It will blink on for a few seconds and then no sound. Would not purchase these again due to the bad quality of the build. Very disappointed.

Great Sound and battery life
The buds have a great battery and sound. They definitely have stronger bass than most but by using an equalizer you can easily make them sound perfect. I used the equalizer in spotify and they sound much better than out of the box. I do think the app should have one for other users because you can get a bad first impression. They don't fit perfectly especially the right side, but that's a problem I've had with all earbuds I've tried before. I recommend getting some memory foam to avoid any issues.Quality wise I cant complain. I dropped them a couple of times but they continue to work perfectly, one of them was even submerged in water and nothing happened! I wish the case was sturdier, it feels kinda cheap but again its not the worse and not a great problem.Connectivity has been good and they do have a great range. I don't use them to make calls so I cant comment on that part.Overall after 3 months of use I like them very much and would recommend, 4.5/5 stars.
