News just in. Nyxi have contacted me and are sending out a new salt rock part so I have upped the rating in anticipation that it will be good (I hope). Ok another update. Got the replacement and it does look pretty good so many thanks to Nyxi for going to the trouble of doing that. Now I kind of have two lamps after I did some "hand crafting" alterations to sort of improve the bad one and they probably didn't really need to send me another after all but I will use the best one and maybe get another light fitting for the spare.The existing dimmer switch was already good and worked well so I can still use that.Would rather have had just a nice lamp to begin with but glad Nyxi made an effort to help me out so have to give the full 5 stars up from an original 2 or 3.They are nice lamps but they can be very natural and maybe they should sack the blind hand crafter, who also lost any feeling in their hands, who makes them lol. Just kidding blind people need jobs too.

Havnt unwrapped it properly yet as its an Xmas presant, just switched it to check it worked. It's very well made, very sturdy, nice and bright, dimmer switch works a treat for more sutle light, very happy, great value for money.

I bought this is an alternative red light for late night breastfeeding (the actual baby ones were triple the price) - it’s been perfect - lovely light, surprisingly bright and so nice that it’s on a dimmer switch. Ended up buying a second one because I liked it so much. Would recommend!

Don’t risk buying this. Mine came faulty, tried to contact the seller twice now to no avail even though it says when you try to process a refund to contact them and they will send out new part. The bulb blew straight away so I purchased more thinking it was just my luck for nothing to work at all. Disappointed!!!! Now I’ve got to lug this thing back to the storage locker just to get my money back for this!!! Let alone the money I spent on a load of new bulbs and the inconvenience of having to move it about!!! Thumbs down from me and I NEVER leave bad reviews..EDIT : they did send me a new part but I had zero communication so had no clue what was going on so that is the only issue, it has worked since which is great because it is beautiful and has a nice glow so I have amended my original review.

We had got a battery powered one as a present for someone that was the same price. This is bigger and nicer looking. Cannot confirm any healing powers yet but it looks great as a lamp.

this light is absolutely brilliant, cant fault it. after all the christmas trimmings and lights came down the house looked cold and unwelcoming, after buying this light it looks warm and cozy once again. i actually bought a second the next day and planning to get a third for the bedroom. i dont know how long the bulb will last so i bought i led fridge light today which should last a long time. once again dont be in any doubt about these lights as they have completely changed my mood and made the house glowing and happy again, first class !!!!!!

I had been looking forward to receiving this item, when I was unpacking the item, I didn’t understand why they seemed to be chards of glass? I thought perhaps it’s the salt?Then when I stood up I collected the shards in my skirt, went outside to dust off, and glass went in my eye! Then once trying to plug the light in, it wasn’t working, so I removed the part with the lightbulb, disappointedly this had smashed all inside the lamp:/ so after nearly 2 days hoovering, as I keep finding glass, I sent the item back. And I will praise the seller, as immediately they issued a refund. So I was most thankful to the prompt response of the seller! I am presuming this item may of been dropped in transit, which may caused the smashed blub?However I won’t be purchasing a salt lamp again, I didn’t realise how heavy they are as well. So a sturdy unit is needed to hold the weight!
