Way better than the competition!
Oh I’m so in love with this little thing! Here are some of my favorite features:- It’s actually made for just the iPad Mini 5, not the 4 and 5. There seem to be some issues with ones made for both fitting the 5 just right. In either case, this one fits perfectly around all ports and buttons, which tend to be the issues with such things.- There’s a dedicated apostrophe key. Look carefully at the others on the market. Most of them have the apostrophe over the “p” or “o” — who can type like that?!- It’s small, obviously, and the keys are closer together than on a standard keyboard, but it takes very little getting used to, especially if you don’t have Huge hands. I have large hands for a woman, and I’m just fine. It feels a little like what I imagine an old school stenography keyboard would feel like.- Some of the keys are little “half” keys — the apostrophe and things like + - [ ] \ .... which is to say ones you don’t use every single day. Again, I’d so much rather that (and I could get used to that if I needed to use them a lot), than putting high-frequency keys like apostrophes and quotation marks on random function keys- Speaking of which, the dedicated shortcut buttons (home, lock, app switcher, search, and even a keyboard switcher which just brings up my emoji keyboard) are excellent.- The backlight colors are pretty :)- The outside of the case is nice; it has a nice texture to it. Overall the case/keyboard feels sturdy and obviously heavier than the ipad alone, but somehow not significantly bulkier if that makes sense? Solid without being clunky.- And the BIGGEST REASON: it feels like an actual keyboard. No plastickey/gummy/rickety buttons. Actual keys.It definitely doesn't hurt that it's roughly half the price of most of the other keyboards that don't tick half the boxes listed above. Immensely pleased with the purchase all around!

Great keyboard--for a year—um, make that a couple of months. No E key. Done.
Update—failed after about six weeks this time. Tired of cutting slack. 1 star.I've purchased three of these flawed little beasts so far, mainly because they're cheap and the keys are laid out in the traditional way (though smaller). The case is good except it runs right up to the bottom edge of the iPad, making it hard to tap stuff sometimes if it's too close to the edge. Not wonderful but tolerable. The keyboard is great, very smooth, easy to use. But then about a year comes around, and thanks to some poor engineering that the maker could probably fix easily, keys begin to crap out. Every year, same time, keys begin to die. So, if you don't mind spending $18 a year for a pretty good keyboard case with flaws, this one might work. Just know what you're getting.

Pairing with my tablet was a breeze, and the connection has remained stable with minimal lag. The keyboard offers a range of useful shortcut keys that enhance productivity, allowing me to navigate my tablet seamlessly without having to touch the screen constantly. This has made tasks like writing emails or editing documents much more efficient. The battery life is another impressive aspect of the ZAGG Folio. decent but overall mediocre product
this keyboard is a significant downgrade from the rugged notebook. it works well enough but, but i can tell won’t last beyond a year. also the despite this keyboard being measured for an ipad mini (gen 5) the case doesn’t completely fit around the corners. could have been a great keyboard but it is just adequate

Still issues with breaking
I am only keeping this one because I just don't shut it completely to avoid it breaking. I have bought 3 in the past, and they all broke over time when I opened and closed it. So far it isn't breaking, but it's getting loose somehow. I'm just trying to handle it very carefully. The keyboard itself is great. Not too cramped. I especially light the lighted keyboard because I use low LED lights in my living room at night and lighting the keyboard helps me find the keys.
