Cleans the dishes pretty well. As per Technology Connections, put some powder in the pre-wash section (I usually top it off), run the tap until it's fully hot, and you'll have the best results. Every bag I've gotten has the scoop inside the bag. Sometimes it's buried, but if you have a hard time finding the scoop, shake the bag a bit and it should pop up :)I do wish the powder came in a larger quantity, the bags aren't as big as you would expect. Overall though, highly recommend!

This stuff works! I moved to a new house that had a dishwasher and really wanted fragrance free soap and after looking a at few I went with this one. My sister uses Truley free and complain of soap spots on her clean dishes but I don’t have that problem with this soap. I do not pre rinse my dishes and only use an half scoop of soap and the dishes come out completely clean and spot free 99% of the time with the occasional food stuck on a fork. Easy to use packaging that is resealable and has a nice scoop.

I have used a number of other products and this one hits all the criteria: Cleans well, Natural ingredients, No Plastic, I find it affordable compared to others. The second it hits water you can see the active ingredients dissolve and start working.

Wow guys this has got to be one of the best products I have ever used it is better than Cascade and it does not test on animals!!! I recently watched the videos of cascade and other corporations shoving their product down the throats of animals with a giant tube! All proven unnecessary.thank you for bringing a wonderful product the reason I'm giving it four stars is because I'd like to see it in a paper bag like some of the other ones I've purchased because in Nevada they will not recycle plastic.I will be repurchasing. There's no residue!

This dishwasher powder works way better than anything I’ve used before! For the first time our dishes come out without any streaks or water spots. Plus I love that it’s loose powder so I’m not worried about any plastic dissolving & getting on my dishes.

UPDATEDThis batch (my 3rd) is horrible. It's consistently leaving residue and coating the inside of my dishwasher. I don't know what's different. I'm not even going to finish the package.REVISEDThe last 2 paragraphs are my initial review.I'm now on my 3rd package of this and have found that it does not etch my glasses. I have several silicone containers and it seemed as though silicone is more susceptible for spotting than glass. After using this for all this time (about a year) the silicone spotting has drastically reduced. I'm now wondering if there was a residue from prior cleaning products.I (see earlier remarks in last paragraph) haven't been brave enough to try using less than 1/2 scoop when I wash dishes using only the upper rack setting, but I have had many occasions to test 1/2 scoop while using both racks in my energy-efficient dishwasher and that it plenty. The reasons I chose this product initially are: fragrance free is mandatory because of my allergies and sensitivities; not in pre-measured pods that would use more detergent than necessary; concern about plastic residue in the environment from the dissolved pods.Originally I only gave 4 stars, probably because I didn't know whether I could use 1/4 scoop for upper rack only in energy efficient dishwasher and because it's in plastic bag instead of cardboard or bamboo container. Since I originally bought this, I've gotten several items that were described as fragrance free that I had to return because they were not. This is - and note there is a fragrance version.ORIGINAL REVIEWI've tried other green products, and will probably stick with this one for the future. I gave it 4 stars because of the packaging. It's better than a plastic tub or bottle, but I'd like to see a bamboo cardboard box.Other reviewers mentioned using half a scoop with Energy Star rated machines, and since my dishwasher allows me to wash only the upper tray or the bottom tray (or both) I use a half scoop, but I wonder if 1/4 scoop would be enough washing only one tray. It would be nice to have such information on the package.

The title says it all. I’ve tried other pod alternatives and just never seem to get good results until now! I shy away from pods that may gum up the plumbing & like to use greener alternatives where I can. I actually look forward to starting the dishwasher now because it smells so good! The only suggestion to the manufacturer is to have a better way to store it. I put it in an old coffee can because I find it easier to handle than the bag. I don’t want to resort to single use plastic packaging, but maybe a refill vs a starter situation? In the mean time I’ll be scooping away from my coffee can!
