Great product & service -- invaluable for flea control
This is one part of my annual strategy to fight fleas. I spray it on floors, rugs and furniture early in the season (March is good) and then again in late May or so. Along with this, I vacuum areas my cat spends a lot of time in, every three days. That includes vacuuming the sofa, where he likes to sleep. I use a light sprinkle of food grade diatomaceous earth on his cat bed and brush him every day. I've had no trouble with fleas using this method, and am really happy to not use those horrible toxic flea medicines. It's more work, but it's totally worth protecting the health of my cat. And it's also much less expensive than the toxic flea meds.

We are battling a flea infestation in my house from our indoor/outdoor cat for the first time ever!! With constant bathing with flea shampoo, cutting her fur very short and using Frontline (I think I'm switching to Hartz , even though I've heard it isn't liked by the vets, it seems stronger), we still don't have it under control. I used one bottle of this in my steam cleaner and was able to do my whole living room, most of my hallway and some of my Daughter's room. I'm ordering 2 more and redoing the whole place and this time I'm going to make sure I get every square inch of carpet. It did seem to help a lot where I used it. I'm also washing curtains, vacuuming and spraying mattresses, spraying all around the molding and dark corners and vacuuming everywhere constantly. This is an absolute nightmare. My cat actually has flea anemia and her red blood cell count is too low. I'll never let her flea meds lapse again!!!

THANK GOD FOR THIS STUFF!
I found about IGR's from a website with no/less toxic suggestions for flea control and I'm so glad I got this stuff. We'd been under assault for two months and totally miserable (mom, dad, cat, and baby). I used diotomaceous earth and advantage on the cat but we were still super infested. I have a six month old so I was really concerned about using anything toxic (he is putting everything in his mouth right now). I thoroughly researched the chemical in this product and feel fine about using it on carpets and sofa where he spends time. I read lots of studies and a 17lb mammal would have to ingest a full 7oz to show signs of liver toxicity. You know what else will cause signs of liver toxicity? Seven ounces of alcohol. I sprayed this one ounce on our area rugs, upholstered furniture, and wood and tile floors and the fleas were gone within a week and a half. We didn't spray an adulticide or I'm sure we would have been flea free sooner. I'm also personally super chemically sensitive and I did the spraying, it has a familiar flea collar smell but other than that it didn't bother me a bit. Breathing the dust from DE gave me headaches so this was much better. Get this stuff you will not regret it!

Buy it, effective and affordable
Had a terrible flea infestation and was getting bitten like crazy. I brought 2 bottles of Hartz ultraguard flea spray and it might as well have been water. The flea population kept growing, so out of sheer desperation I ordered the Martin's IG regulator and I highly recommend it. I used the dishwater under a night light trick as a flea trap and the fleas have decreased from over twenty (nightly) to four in the two weeks I've sprayed the IG regulator. I hope to be flea free soon.

Best insecticide I ever used!
For several years I could only find the product @ a feed store miles from me. To my surprise Amazon stocked it. No insects any longer. Thanks!

Not very long lasting, and terrible packaging
This is my first time using this brand, but past experience with IGR has been overwhelmingly positive. The Precor brand I've used for many years does a great job of preventing flea infestation without the use of toxins in your home. I still flea comb my cat anytime I notice scratching, but there's just one or two fleas. I don't know why, but this brand doesn't seem to be very effective. I've taken to adding some of the Precor I still have from a few years ago, and then it seems to work well. I'm thinking it's the Precor that's working, not this Martin brand. Also, I am very disappointed in the packaging for this brand. The ampoule is designed for one-time use over a very large area. I only spray a few areas in my home where my cat spends most of his time. Other brands I have purchased came in bottles that allowed me to extract a small amount each time I wanted to mix some up. This brand comes in an ampoule that is clearly designed for one-time use over a large area. There is no way to stop up the container after you open it. I tried to pour it into a couple of small bottles, and it was a total mess. This container is not good for pouring. So I ended up wasting about a third of the container. I won't purchase this brand again unless it's my only option.
