A worthwhile read about a great musician
I read this as a result of a friend recommending it. All I knew about Cozy Powell was the single "Dance with the Devil", so I had no preconceptions, unlike some of the reviewers of this book. I found it to be informative & quite well written & it's given me a look into the world of Cozy. If you're a fan of his I doubt you'll find much you don't already know but then I don't think it's aimed at the hard-core fan, it's more for those who want to find out who he was.I heartily recommend it to all who would like to find out more about a brilliant musician & drummer. I'm looking forward to more of her work.

Decent read
Not a bad book but not great. It relies on magazine interviews and statements made by Cozy to press. So although gives a little insight doesn't really give you a comprehensive perception of Cozy. To be fair it does explain that at the beginning and is written well enough. Worth reading if you are a Cozy fan.

Nothing new
As other reviews have said, there is nothing new here for longtime fans of Cozy. There were a few interesting bits from interviews I hadn't read before (Cozy was apparently going to make an album with Keven DuBrow of Quiet Riot! What happened to that!?) but otherwise this book is just a collection of interviews with the author summarising what you just read which honestly comes off as filler and ultimately pointless. Still, no one else has written a book about Cozy until now so I'm glad someone did and it's good to have these interviews collected together.

great read
A great read about a great legendary drummer. Stood next to the man in sept 1989 after a sabbath gig. If only I’d had a camera phone crack then !!!!!!

Good overview
A good overview of Cozy’s career but suffers from lack of original material, very much ‘cut and paste’ from old interviews.
