Love this!I had an owlet sock and I could no longer get it to connect to the wifi. So I ordered this for my 2 month old. Love this thing. Works perfectly and is accurate. Keeps up with current O2 and Heartrate.I love this more than the owlet too because I can use this on my entire family and don't need wifi.Strongly recommend.

First impressions, WOW!
My daughter uses the Nelcor Covidien pulse ox but it is currently broken and will need to be sent to the manufacturer for repair. I bought this as a backup after 5pm yesterday and didn't expect much from the free overnight shipping, but it was literally on my doorstep before 9am this morning. Very pleased to get it so quickly! I purchased this with my HSA, it IS eligible. My daughter has not used this yet, and I had to order the pediatric probe #75 off the actual website (also HSA eligible) so it's not here yet, but I got it all set up and tested it on myself and I am pretty impressed so far!It comes very well packaged. The case it comes with is super nice, and it has the adult probe, infant probe, a wall charger and cord, and a USB-C to USB cable that I assume is meant to plug the machine into a computer to download data. Also comes with the stand, case, a user manual, and a quick setup guide. The quick setup guide is easy to use, well illustrated, and I was able to set everything to the correct limits to match the Covidien unit in just a few minutes. All of the pieces and manuals fit neatly in the case, so you can keep everything with the unit. This unit is about the size of a very chunky cell phone, so it doesn't take up nearly as much space as our Covidien unit. Could probably fit in a large pocket without too much trouble. The only downside I can see so far to this is that when you first start it up it starts beeping as it reads your sats. All you have to do to stop it is hit the mute button so this is a very minor annoyance, and hitting mute will not keep it from alarming again if the sat limits are violated. I personally just REALLY detest hearing a pulse ox alarm, it automatically raises my anxiety, so I wish there was a way to disable that completely.I will update this review as we use it more if I have anything to add, but thus far I am extremely pleased with my purchase and I am super thankful to have a great secondary unit on hand for such a reasonable price, as my insurance will not pay for another one even with our first one being broken.Update: battery is supposed to last 12 hours. I think I got about 10 from it, continuous use. Not bad at all! Definitely more than enough for a full day of school and most outings we would need to take. Would always recommend having a charger on hand for any unit anyway, but nice to be able to be away from an outlet for extended periods of time.

Life saver
This product worked so incredibly well! The battery lasts all night long, it’s easy to use and worked great for our baby who was struggling with low oxygen. We live in a high altitude so we needed something to alert us at night if his oxygen was getting too low. I recommend this over the owlet. I was able to send data to his pediatrician when she needed it and it’s portable!

Great for spot checks with infant
We are using this product for our baby girl with a heart defect. We only need it for spot checks 3 times a day. Currently, we are renting a Masimo machine and I compared this device with it and hooked both monitors up, one on each foot. As far as accuracy, for our purposes- it is pretty close to the Masimo. Of course the Masimo is more responsive, accurate, and works better when she moves- it is also a $1200 machine. With the CMI device, if my baby moves her foot at all, it does not keep up with the Masimo. And at first I thought I was going to have to return it because I wasn't getting an accurate reading. But then my baby fell asleep during my testing period and stopped moving her foot- both machines moved in sync. So when I use the CMI device, I just hold her in my arms because that makes her still, or I just wait until she's asleep. I love the foot probe and how comfortable and secure it is. I wish Masimo had something like this because I have to do an extra wrap plus put a sock on her in order to get a reading when I was using that as an overnight monitor. The CMI device is more portable convenient for quick uses but we will not be using it if we need to go on long car rides. The settings do not save when you turn the machine off, but the mute button works the whole time as long as the stats stay within the parameters we set. I do plan on keeping this product and would recommend it for someone who just needs it for spot checks. This is not something I would trust to alert me if my baby's stats go down for overnight use though.

These work great.
We have donated a number of these to hospitals in West Africa. They are dependable and battery powered so power outages are not an issue.

Hard to accurately read on infant
Device stopped working after a couple months of use. Bought to spot check our infant after she was in the NICU. Had a hard time using the infant monitor, didn’t want to accurately read when using.

Great to have
UPDATE: our 6 week old baby started having a 101.3 fever, so we took him to the ER where he was diagnosed with Flu B. By the time we got home, he was so congested we couldn't keep him cleared out. I was contemplating taking him back to the ER based on other symptoms. I got this pulse oximeter out and his O2 would fluctuate from 99% to 94% to 88% and back up. I thought the machine was malfunctioning. I decided based on his O2 stats and retracfions to go back to the ER. His O2 in the ER fluctuated just as wildly there as it did on this machine. Unfortunately, he had to be admitted and receive oxygen with a PICU stay, but if it wasn't for this machine then idk if I would have taken him in as quickly. I HIGHLY recommend this product. It literally saved my child's life.We have a newborn and toddler in the house, so we wanted something to monitor our kids when they are sick to provide one of many factors in determining if we should go to the hospital when they are sick. I manually took my pulse while I had the O2 sensor on and they were almost the same. I would say that is pretty accurate. It is easy to use and charges quickly. I haven't used the newborn sensor yet. When I do, if it doesn't work wight then I will update this review. Overall this a great tool to have when anyone gets sick. It is better to spend this than have a cheap Oximeter that isn't accurate (we have several and they are all over the place).
