Very happy.
I was a little apprehensive about buying a recon laptop, but I loath to pay over the top prices for a brand new one that comes pre-loaded with bloat/spyware that will get reformatted upon arrival, so I gave the HP 820 G3 a go not expecting too much as I like HP build quality. I needn't have worried - the laptop came looking as new apart from a minor blemish on the HP emblem which is hardly noticeable. No useless bloatware, just pure windows with all drivers installed & ready to go.I updated the bios & a few drivers from HP website & everything works perfectly.My only minor gripe was that the LTE module wasn't installed, but a quick search on ebay produced the required Snapdragon X5 module needed for £12 which was installed while adding another 8GB of memory to the second empty slot, so I now have a super snappy laptop that I can use while on the road with a SIM card for a fraction of the price of a new one - very happy! Seller was helpful too, which is a definite plus.

Faulty
As soon as the laptop powered up, I noticed the mouse pad was very temperamental and most of the time it just wouldn’t work. I requested a return which was accepted and while packing up again I noticed it wasn’t even the make or model I requested. Poor service and poor item

Small, compact design but I like HP products in general. One thing that was missed in the description was the touchscreen capability built in (a happy suprise for the daughter). Impressed by the B&O speakers as standard on this model. Does everything it's supposed to do. Windows will need to be activated (but not necessary to use). All in, good little machine

Won't boot up correctly
I bought this in October and noticed that it doesn't boot up first time, it either just wont load or when it does the mouse wont respond. Which means i have to hold down the power button until it shuts off, then turn it on again. It always works 2nd time, and when it's on it works great.I'm just really dissapointed that it doesn't boot up as it should. And amazon have been absolutely no help at all in providing a solution to the problem. I want it fixed, not refunded. Who is to say a replacement would be any better.

Smart piece of tech
I was initially disappointed with this because the battery was not charging. Support was good and a new battery was sent to me which I installed. It now works as it should do..
